Analyzing the provocative and boundary-pushing independent film, "Mass State Lottery." This has been on my radar for quite some time, and I was lucky to receive an early screener of the film from the director himself ("LowRes Wunderbred" here on YouTube).
"Mass State Lottery" is a black comedy, crime-drama, and drug-trip all in one; just as insightful as it is experimental. But more than anything, this is a film that truly understands the current crisis facing the hordes of internet-addicted, fatherless young men. And I've never seen a movie so well-attuned to the often-overlooked emotional despair of today's misguided youth.
