Hi All!
There will be a new Robert E. Howard audiobook this weekend! It's called Lord of Samarcand and it's a crusader tale.
If you want to listen early, check out my Patreon account, where there is an early release of the audiobook as well as a podcast feed which includes all my audiobooks for subscribers.
You can find my Patreon here: patreon.com/TheEldritchArchives
As always, thanks for your support of the channel and I hope you enjoy the coming audiobook!

Hi All,

A quick update about the future of the channel.
I've decided to scale back the output of the channel for the forseeable future. I still plan on producing audiobooks, but rather than releasing an audiobook once a week, releases will be more infrequent from now on.
About 6 months ago I decided to increase the rate of production of audiobooks to one per week.
Since then I've produced audiobooks of 23 short stories/novellas and an audiobook of one full length novel.
This was a huge amount of work and a huge achievement, which im proud of. I'd hoped that, with more content and more frequent uploads, the audience for the channel would increase. Unfortunately the channel hasnt been growing enough to justify the amount of time it takes to produce so much content.
Devoting so much time to the channel means that other goals in my life simply arent possible to achieve. As the saying goes: "Life is what happens while you're making other plans."
Time is unfortunately a limited and non-renewable resource. I've had to make the difficult decision to focus on other areas in my life rather than continue devoting so much of my time to a venture, which, though rewarding and creatively satisfying, simply isnt receiving the traction it needs.
I'm not shutting down the channel or going silent - I plan to still produce audiobooks and maybe a video essay or two in the future . I am writing this update because I feel that all those who have supported me by either buying an audiobook, becoming a patron, or commenting on videos, deserve to know what's going on with the channel and what the future holds.
I'm incredibly grateful to all those who have supported me financially or who comment on each video and post words of encouragement :)
You guys make it worth all the hard work!

Hi All!

I'm about to go on holiday for a few weeks, so there won't be any audiobooks for a while.

I'll be back around mid-march with a new audiobook.

Cheers!

Hello All!

I've recently set up a Patreon page, where you can financially support the channel, if you so wish.

For those not familiar with Patreon, it's a service where you can financially support a creator or artist by paying a subscription and in return receiving exclusive access to their work.

If you do support the channel you will get access to...
- downloadable MP3 files for all audiobooks (including files for the music and art used in the videos)
- an exclusive podcast feed with all audiobooks from the channel (ad-free, of course), which you can add to your favourite podcast app and easily listen to the audiobooks

In addition you will get updates, about which audiobooks will be released in the future as well as news about other projects I am working on.

Check out the Patreon page here for the full list of benefits: www.patreon.com/TheEldritchArchives

In addition, all of the audiobooks available on Patreon have been remastered! I've learned a lot about mixing audio since I started producing videos and audiobooks, so i've been going back and remastering the audio for previous audiobooks I have recorded. All the audiobooks accessible on Patreon have been remastered and sound much better than the audio in the original youtube videos (especially the older audiobooks).

As always, thanks for all the support and kind comments! I read them all and they give me the motivation to continue producing videos and audiobooks :)

Thanks,
Connor

Hi all! I just finished editing the audio for a video essay on doppelgängers in film and literature. 1hr 30mins in total. I will likely split it into two parts and release the first part in March sometime.
