So... it's been 10 years since this squid creature swam through our gaming peripherals. I'm truly amazed that we here, a small division at the Squid Research Lab, have managed to present our small musical discoveries on the internet!
Thank you all for supporting our endeavors, and happy 10th anniversary to the game that shaped us into what we are today! Happy 10th anniversary, Splatoon!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT:
Over the past year and a half, we here at the (definitely real) Squid Research Lab have been enjoying posting about our music findings for everyone to see. This all blossomed into us reaching 6.4K followers! (Which is a LOT of you out there.)

Even though we had fun with this channel, I'm sad to say that on Nov 13 at 12:00 AM GMT+8, we'll be on an indefinite hiatus. In other words, we're stopping operations on this channel.
One of the main reasons why we're stopping this for now is due to the lack of new findings our lab has been doing, and it's getting very scarce at the moment.
Don't worry, this entire channel won't be deleted, but rather just be left on our shelves, collecting dust until the next game in the franchise comes out.

Since we're gonna take a hiatus, why not leave with a bang? Just for that, we'll prepare our final video that will be released on the same day, which will be an (mostly) unfinished recreation of "that heavenly melody", the Calamari Inkantation! The song that resonates with all of Squid and Octo kind.
Due to this, we'll skip today's video for now, so we can perfect this aquatic masterpiece of a song.

Once again, thanks for all of the fun memories we all had over the past year and a half! We may cross paths again once the next game comes out, but for what may be the last time...
