Stop-motion storytelling meets vlogging, I guess? I travel as much as I can, explain things, collect things, build things, and have two cats - Ralph & Bella.
1. I'm doing my first ever Meet & Greet at Santa Pod Raceway in the UK on the 6th of September. Meet me and see props from my videos, including Rolf & Stella, Reggie's bridge, wrongly-coloured LEGO and more. I'll also be selling the last of the colouring books, postcard and other cool stuff. Really excited about this, Santa Pod's a great family day out with loads to do, including a funfair, stalls, food and drink, monster trucks, camping, and of course the drag cars themselves. This ISN'T sponsored / paid, but they've given me a discount code to share: EF15, which gives you 15% off adult Saturday admission. It'd be great to see you there!
2. I'll also be at Dublin Brick Con on the 11th & 12th October for a Meet & Greet, again hopefully see you there!
3. Ralph received A TON of birthday cards, thank you so much! The video will be out by the end of September, I'm just making sure the last of the mail filters through so nobody is disappointed.
4. The Travel Journal is back... albeit in a slightly different format! I travel to 3 countries in 3 continents per video, and build a LEGO set as well as embarking on a series of unrelated side-quests. The first video will be out in the next week or so, and sees me travel to Las Vegas, Berlin and India, where my LEGO set may or may not get stolen by a monkey... it's a wild story, I can't wait to finally share it.
5. Spronkington will return, it just takes a very long time, my apologies! I spent a whole year working on those first two videos, making custom LEGO to the quality I want takes a very long time. I can't be more specific, but there'll be a video before the end of the year, and it'll (hopefully) be worth the wait.
6. Finally, I've been working on a banknote video for the first time in over four years! It's shot on-location, and again will be out my the end of the year. Those videos got kinda repetitive to make and I ultimately stopped enjoying it, but I've remained very interested in currency and it's been super fun working on one again. Oh and I'm also working on a separate coin video, but I've already said too much!
Thanks everyone for bearing with me, it seems as though I'm juggling a hundred projects at once at the moment, but they'll all be out soon enough :)
Last year Danielle and I amicably separated. We remain on good terms and decided it’s best for Bella to continue living with me and Ralph, due to her age and health concerns.
Maisie now lives with Danielle, and won’t be appearing in any more videos.
Here’s a sneak peek from the next Spronkington video, my very own LEGO City! I’ve actually been working on it for about 6 months now, and built over 20 custom buildings, including a neighbourhood and shopping street, as well as moving in our first residents! Like the first video, it’s sponsored by LEGO Insiders Club. Remember to create your own Avatar on your LEGO Play profile, and then use the Avatar Studio to share your Avatar. You can even use the hashtag #halfasleep so I can see it!
And check this out - I made someone who already tagged me, and added them to Spronkington for real!
I recently helped my good friend Geoff Marshall make a giant LEGO Tube Map with working trains. We got to do it at the London Transport Museum depot, surrounded by old trains and buses, and it was a lot of fun. WATCH IT HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WCkR...
P.S. Geoff was the guy who dressed up as the London LEGO minifigure in my LEGO London video last year. He also accompanied me for 6 hours while I built the bus on the bus, in the blazing summer heat, all whilst wearing a suit, Union Jack waistcoat and bowler hat! I thanked him by buying lunch at the Rainforest Cafe... it was a very good day
Are you interested in a 360-video of the LEGO Space Rollercoaster's full unedited launch, flight, descent and landing?! It's about two and a half hours long...
3 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS! Thanks a lot everyone! I'm very excited about all the projects I have coming up in 2024, starting with a cat video in a day or two. In the meantime, meet MEGA-FROG!
I made something! - a mosaic of several hundred coins from over 100 countries for charity:water (the charity we fundraised for in the ceiling train video!)
It's currently on display until the end of the week at The Other Art Fair at Truman Brewery in London, E1 6QR, so be quick if you want to see it (I believe you can even bid to buy it, or buy posters of it!) Unfortunately I'm away at the moment so can't go and see it myself, so it would be AMAZING if some of you did, and supported charity:water. (If you do go, please send me a photo - I'm so sad I'm missing it!)
This photo they've taken makes it looks like an actual real proper official piece of art!

Important question: what's your all-time favourite video of mine? Or is there one that particularly springs to mind when thinking of my channel?!
