Feeling a little fancy this past weekend at our daughter’s band banquet. It was a great turn out we had so much fun. We are enjoying the band parent life, watching our beautiful daughter Amberlynn grow into what she loves doing. 🎺 She’s amazing! Our Verde mas Alla! We are so proud of her. Her hard work so worth it and we just can’t say enough. Love how band kids are so resilient! Strong and talented! A few weeks ago her High School marching band performed at the Battle of the Bands featuring over 4,000 band students. A beautiful sight and only takes place here in San Antonio TX. We also got to see her marching band in Flambeau Parade during Fiesta. It’s been amazing being back home and to have our children enjoy where we are originally from. This is where we have been these past weeks. Now we have been gardening and we know we have been super slow on videos but we will have some out soon. Kiddos grow up so fast and we don’t want to miss any of it. At the end we all end up in the garden where there is always something to share with you our garden friends. 💚💚💚💚💚💚 Bloom where you are planted!

Hola San Antonio! How did we wake up today?! Or did we even sleep! 😆🙌🏽😂 It’s party time in SA and boy did we miss it so much. This is our first time back at @fiestasa since a very VERY long time. Last night we attended the @fiestaflambeauparade where our daughter Amberlynn 🎺 performed with her @southwestband High School marching band. Big love going to all the band kids they are tough. It was very hot and humid, typical SA weather and the heat is no joke. But boy did they all do amazing! Proud of them! Go Dragons! 🐉 Now we prepare for tonight’s @spurs game! Garden Obsessions

Good morning! Still in bed ☕️ looking out the window at a cloudy sky, oak tree waving in the wind while it lightly rains. Lovely day even if we don’t get to go out and play, makes for great indoor time. As we both sit here we dream about our new TX garden and talk on what we’ve created so far. We are truly taking our time, going slow and easy to enjoy every bit of it. There is no rush. I love how we both meet in the middle and how our children are a big part of it. Slowly the garden grows and keeping in mind many changes will come along the way and that’s ok. That’s what makes it fun. I’m ready for it all! Main thing is have fun doing what you love and it’s an extra bonus if you are doing it with the ones you love. What a beautiful photo Ambrose took. Texas Primrose has been blooming for weeks now. A few are planted under roses since last spring. They didn’t do much last year but this time around the TX Primrose has tripled in size and filled with blooms. Now that they are established they should bloom till first frost. The yellow looks like sunshine under the roses I’m loving this plant so much. A little something I wanted to share while I’m out cleaning up the garden and planting a few flowers. Merry Christmas!
Christmas morning we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus! Had our hot coco while others had their coffee. Brisket was done ready to bring in after being smoked all night. Played games, listened to music while house smelled of so many goodies. We even enjoyed watching the Spurs win. Go Spurs go! 🙌🏽😂 Oh ya we opened our presents and watched our kiddos smile. We had our walk through the garden, planning for next year and smelling the December rose blooms. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! 🎄 ✝️💚💚💚💚💚💚
