Former professional bull rider Caden Gillard has been winning over audiences nationwide with determination and raw talent. Gillard taught himself guitar in 2009 while battling leukemia, often performing for hospital staff and fellow patients. After beating cancer, he returned to chasing his gold buckle dreams, sharpening his songwriting skills on the PRCA rodeo circuit by performing between go-rounds. Blending classic honky-tonk, red dirt country, rock ’n’ roll, and touches of blues, Gillard debuted in 2018 with Gold Buckle Dreams, followed by Red Dirt Rock N Roll (2020) and Love & Heartbreak (2022). His single “Back to Life” reached #52 on the MusicRow Chart, with additional chart success in Texas. Now based in Nashville, Caden continues to build momentum through writing, recording, and touring.
