Some news ahead of this weekend
After a faulty setback on receiving the 4K Camera, which has now been sent back, i'll be covering this weekends Pontefract event as before with the phonecam, but rest assured, i'm still aiming for a 4K upgrade before Doncaster.
On a more positive note, 11k followers have been hit on TikTok ^^

Starting next week, i'll be covering exhibitions again and hope to expand to some new areas later in the year, in addition i'm thrilled to announce that future shows and trainspotting captures will be recorded on my newly acquired Sony 4K video camera, i'll still be filming and editing shorts and repairs on the phone cam, but this year, i'm stepping up in quailty and hope the effort will be worth it, of course, i'm hoping you all will be along for the ride :)

With the Christmas decs down and the flu given the heave ho, ModelRailwaysandMe kicks off 2026 with my first repair video, then begin my main coverage of exhibitions, starting with Pontefract on the 24th, followed by a TWO day visit this year to Doncaster's Festival of Railway Modelling... with some more familiar friends, layouts... and maybe the odd TUG or two ;)
There will, of course, be more shorts pending finds and ideas, so be sure to stay tuned and enjoy what's to come for 2026 ^^
