This is a channel showcasing my devotion to a hobby that may benefit those not just looking for an alternative form of therapy, but also shows that in todays ever changing and somewhat deteriorating world.. the passion and hobby of Model Railways will stand strong... and will always benefit in a positive way... as it did for me.
In addition to shorts showing repairs and restorations, you can enjoy throwbacks with programs centred on the hobby along with coverage of various exhibitions.
More content is viewable on TikTok and on X (formally Twitter)
The hobby we all need in this world... Model Railways... and me :)

Coverage from Middleton Leeds Model Railway show did make it through thankfully so i'll have a full video on that later in the week, and you may also have noticed some of my recent short uploads have now been rendered in 60fps and improved quality than before, hopefully a sign of great improvement to come. ;)

Last years Middleton Leeds coverage was short given the hot weather and self injury, hopefully tomorrow will be an improvement, in the meantime enjoy last years highlights.

So after 183 hours of gameplay since it's release, Wonders of Sodor is now 100% complete of it's current content, with all 318 timetables finished among its stories and sessions.
Seemingly I've underestimated how long the remaining timetables have taken to finish, but until the next eventual... if not hopeful... DLC... All done.

Buxton footage was recorded but an SD card error resulted in the files being lost, so unfortunately there will be no coverage video of this event other than the shorts i recorded via phone.
Hope to bring you Leeds in the coming week, hopefully smoother and less warmer than last year.

The Midland Railway Centre was my first exposure to working steam locomotives when my parents took me to my first Thomas event almost 30 years ago... Today it has been my go to place for inspiration, enjoyment, and would like to thank all volunteers and friends of the line for their ongoing support in the last few years, if I lived nearer to this line I would give my time to volunteering... I'd consider the same for Elsecar if it was still up and running.
I look forward to continuing my regular visits to the line, knowing my friendship and support from the lines workers and volunteers remains strong :)

One of my recently featured locomotives has finally returned to full working order, ten months on from her purchase.
Hornby's "County of Hants" was the last birthday present from my stepdad prior to his passing last October, unfortunately the loco suffered teething problems, a gear was cracked, her Dcc conversion was lost and her pickups snapped off, her gear was a salvaged replacement but until now no pickup replacements were made available other than Hornbys older ones which were incompatible, and she's had to make do with glued on pickups from a castle, and although she was able to work, her crawling was poor.
Thanks to Peter's Spares she now has her correct up to date pickups installed though is still in need of a replacement base keeper plate to reinstate her brake rigging, however thanks to my local clubs resources, her tender now has a realistic coal load :)
Hopefully she gets some long awaited running sessions soon.
