Hear me

Give to me, take away from me
Answer me quick, answer me slow
Give me words, hold my tongue
Speak truth, destroy lies
Love me, discern love for me
Give me rest, give me an assignment
Hide me, take me to battle
Change me, restore me
Pick me up, let me walk
Bless me, deny me
Keep me still, move me
Never leave me
Forgive me, but never forget me
Allow me to be weak, allow me to be strong
Cry with me, laugh with me
Vindicate me, validate me
Teach me, correct me
Pursue me, draw near to me
Create in me, create around me
Minister to me, minister through me

And may I trust You knowing whichever You decide is perfect and a part of Your perfect plan.

She is sharing details of what she experienced as a 9 year old little girl who was trafficked by a teacher at school. 😭


It won't be easy.


But she can and is doing it. 💪


She is doing the hard thing to protect other little girls from being tricked, manipulated, and trafficked too. 🙏

I found this in my journal. A letter from God to me that I get He gave me one night. That I think you might need today too. ❤️

“Dear child,

Don’t crawl back in your hole because of the recent disappointment.
A disappointment in life doesn’t cast value on your worth.
It has no deep meaning. Unless you allow it to.
Don’t shrink back to where you were because you feel let down.
Don’t make yourself small, and seemingly helpless to life’s disappointments.
Whether things work out the way you hoped or not does not say something about you.
Bad circumstances in life don’t make you bad, just like good circumstances in life don’t make you good.
You aren’t a sum of what’s happened to you.
You aren’t your wins and losses.
You aren’t the compliments you’ve been told nor the put downs.
You aren’t the money you make or the lack-there-of.
You aren’t your title at work or the number of jobs you’ve been let go from.
You aren’t your the number of friends you have on social media or the loneliness you feel without any true friend.
You aren’t your skills and talents or your mistakes and weaknesses.
Don’t allow the world to speak into who you are.
Don’t let them decide who you should be. Or how should be.
Because it’s not sustainable.
You could allow it to motivate you to “do better.”
But for what?
To meet worldly expectations and standards that at the end of your life carry no weight.
Don’t you dare sink back into believing the world’s lies or Satan’s lies.
You are a light.
Meant to shine. To radiate My love.
You are My child. Meant to accept My love for you.
You are My Word. Meant to share with the world.
Satan wants you small. Thinking small. Feeling worthless. Feeling defeated.
He needs you that way to carry out his plan.
Don’t allow him anywhere near the healing that’s began in you. Don’t you dare run away from what’s working and what’s good for you because of his lies.
Shake off the disappointment, my child.
Put your crown back on.
Stand tall in who I made you to be.
Decide to let the disappointment shrink. Not you.
I’m right here with you.
Together always.

Your reaction to a problem shows your WORTH.
or your INTELLIGENCE
or your SUCCESS
or your IMPORTANCE

It is giving you an indicator of areas that are still wounded.
Maybe deep rooted struggles that you don’t want to acknowledge.

Lashing out in anger
Bursting into tears
Giving up immediately
Blaming someone else
Blaming God
Pretending like it doesn’t exist
Laughing it off like it’s no big deal
Letting it define who you are
Running away
Focusing on fixing all the things you can fix
Isolating
Numbing

It shows an area that needs acknowledgement and healing.
We all are a work in progress.
We all have areas that need growth. That need healing.
No judgement.
Just encouragement to do the work. ❤️
