First time using Youtube's post system, but I just wanted to put here that pastwind, my album that's been in the works since *ahem* 2022? oh god...
It's, uh. Gonna take some more time. I have a song almost completely finished, it just needs vocals, but as you can probably tell the whole project is coming together vvvvvveeeeeeerrrrrrryyyyyyy slowly.
I think I'm going to continue to chip away at it when I get the chance, and continue to release instrumental tracks on Kthnx! for the foreseeable future.
pastwind will continue to be my outlet for putting my thoughts and feelings into music, and will probably slowly trickle out track by track instead of coming out all at once, how I initially planned it to.
Sometimes I feel like I'll never finish it. It might not even be an "album" at this point, and I don't know if I really care. But it will continue to be something I'll work on when I have the chance, and I hope one day I'll have enough quality songs to where I'll be happy with it. But, if not, I think that'll be fine, too. I've come to terms with that. "I'm finishing this damn album, whether I like it or not" is something I said all the way back in 2022, fresh out of high school. I'm 23 now, and I don't know if I agree with 2022 me anymore.
Anyways, thanks for reading my wall of text, it means a lot to me. Thank you so much for sticking around and listening to my music over the years. I'm so thankful for everyone that has <3
