Good morning/evening, my fellow Stays & Hyunlixers!

​When I started this channel, I honestly didn't think it would get this serious. Balancing school and running my local K-pop merch shop alone makes it very hard to keep up with SKZ content, let alone editing (which I'm not the best at 😬). I almost gave up early on, but once I stopped worrying about technical perfection and just embraced the fun of editing this special duo, it became my favourite way to unwind.

​If you’ve noticed the crazy gaps between my uploads, it’s because I genuinely struggle to keep up with new content (I haven't watched much past SKZ Code since Karma era 🥲), and it’s been slowing down my writing drafts too.

​After reflecting recently, I remembered a pep talk I gave myself earlier this year about choosing my own happiness. I’ve prioritized my life—got my grades up and lost 13kg—but Hyunlix and writing remain my absolute biggest sources of joy. So I’m chasing that.

​Instead of wiping my 140+ videos or stressing over high-tech editing styles, this channel is pivoting.

​My shorts will now feature scene packs paired with my own written commentary and delulu thoughts. Editing software isn't my main strength, but writing fanfiction is—and I'm proud of that! For example, taking a moment like Felix leaving his scooter in Japan to run to Hyunjin, clipping the scene, and adding text commentary on the side.

Good morning/evening, my fellow STAYs/Hyunlixers! ❤️

When I started this channel, sincerely, I didn't think it would get this serious for me.

I'm a medical student, so it is VERY hard to keep up with Hyunlix—or even SKZ as a whole—talk less of editing, which I am absolutely terrible at 😭😬.

Honestly, when I started this channel, I thought I would give up after a few months... which I actually did at first 💀.

But when I started embracing the fun part of editing this special duo and stopped caring about whether I was "good enough," I found myself relaxing. I found myself making time for this channel despite my VERY tight schedule.

And to make things even crazier, I also run a local K-pop merch shop all by myself here in my country 😭.

If some of you haven't noticed, the time intervals between my videos are actually insane 💀. I rely more on older content because I genuinely can not keep up with newer content.

I kid you not, I haven't properly watched SKZ content apart from SKZ Code since the KARMA era 🥲.

And don't even get me started on my writing...

I currently have 8 unfinished fanfictions sitting in my drafts 😭.

But something happened recently that made me realise something.

At the beginning of this year, I gave myself a little pep talk and promised that I was finally going to choose myself.

And honestly? I did.

I've lost 13 kg, my grades have improved, and I'm genuinely trying to become a better version of myself.

But I also realised that Hyunlix and writing are two of my biggest sources of happiness.

So I'm going to keep chasing them, too.

Up until now, I have been very confused about what to do with this channel. I've constantly wondered how to improve my crappy editing style and create something that feels recognisably me.

But I think I've finally figured it out.

I'm not deleting my 140+ videos because they are part of this channel's journey. However...

My editing style is changing.

I'm going to allow myself to be more free and creative—as long as my content isn't hurting or disrespecting anyone, of course.

From now on, my shorts are going to be more like Hyunlix scene packs with a twist 👀.

For example, after the Japan concert yesterday, instead of just posting random clips, I could put all the Hyunlix moments together in one video...

BUT to make it more engaging, I'm going to add my completely unnecessary, extremely delulu thoughts 😀.

Because here's the thing:

I may be sincerely terrible at editing...

BUT I AM VERY GOOD AT WRITING FANFICTION.

And honestly? That is one talent I am genuinely proud of.

So I'm going to put it to use 🤭.

For example, that Hyunlix moment yesterday when Felix abandoned his scooter and ran to Hyunjin just to hold his hand???

That could be part of the scene pack, and somewhere on the screen—either the left or right corner—I would add a little delulu thought, statement, or mini fanfiction-style commentary.

Basically...

Hyunlix moments + scene packs + my delulu writer brain.

And honestly?

I think that could become something unique to this channel.

So that's the direction I'm going to start exploring with my next post!
