We are working on testing the launch today. Our rod consists of 3 - 20’ steel rods attached to each other. The side inserted into the pipe has 1/4” gasket rubbing against the inside wall of the pipe acting as a kind of plunger. The rod has 9 bearing allowing the pipe to glide smoothly through the pipe as the compressed air pushes the rod. The outside end of the rod is attached to a trolly under the train which moves the train. Wish us luck!
