Hey, quick update - I'm properly working on a video! Here are some sketches!
It's a "my favourite stuff of 2023" type video I'm making to try and ease back into making videos properly, and I decided to fully focus on this project so I can get it done on time - however, I underestimated how much work this 10-12 minute video with, like, proper animation would take, so if I'm lucky, I might be able to get it done by March next year!
Hey, so I've been tryna get back into the flow of making videos - nothing specific, just general experimenting - and have doodled a lot of stuff to specifically figure out how to do more animation / illustration stuff, so here are some of the ones I think turned out pretty well
Hey, got a quick channel update - had to scrap the video I was working on.
Part of it is just not being sure what kind of videos I want to make anymore or how to make them, and part of it is honestly just me being burnt out on making videos, especially as I’m spending a lot more time doing art and illustrations. I feel like the best option for now is just to take a break, put some distance between myself and videos, and come back when I’ve figured out where I want to go with this channel (or at least, figured it out in more detail than just “something video-essay-ish”).
I’ll still be experimenting with shorts, and I do hope to be able to make a Top Things video toward the end of the year. But otherwise, I make no promises about what kind of videos I’m gonna make or when I’m gonna make them - as I’ve said before, they’ll be done when they’re done.

It's something I've been thinking about for a while, but didn't know how to approach with my kinda content, but recently realized I could probably try and condense my most recent Top Things video into Shorts as rapid fire reviews, and so I did. I will be uploading them for the rest of the month every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday and seeing how it goes. This is more an experiment than anything else, so if you're curious and give them a chance, any feedback you have is greatly appreciated!
