ONE YEAR AGO TODAY I spoke at the Boss Reseller Remix conference in Las Vegas.
Fun fact: I was actually nervous before walking on stage, even though I’ve been on camera and behind microphones for years.
But once I started my presentation and I saw everyone engaged, it reminded me why I love sharing what I’ve learned with other resellers.
Teaching and helping people build income from reselling has become one of my favorite parts of this journey. And it's the reason why I do what I do.

Nearly half of you said overpaying was the most expensive mistake — and that makes sense.
What I’ve seen over and over is that overpaying isn’t about math.
It’s about optimism, emotion, and timing.
It’s rarely one bad buy — it’s your money getting tied up longer than expected.
This is why sourcing decisions matter just as much as selling skills.
Here’s what helped me to reduce that mistake over time:
Before I buy, I pause and ask myself one question:
*If this takes longer to sell than I expect, am I still okay with this price?*
If the answer is no, that’s usually my signal to walk away or renegotiate.
Overpaying doesn’t hurt at checkout — it hurts when your money gets stuck.
