Body Swap Shift

I was working on writing a post about how I am prepared to be a sell out -- or at least to stop feeling guilty when I do decide to sell out (more on this later) -- when I came across an offer for a sponsored video in my inbox. I ended up sending this message:

>>I looked over your site, and at this time, I will have to pass.
>>
>>While the AI nature of my work is important to me, the gender
>>inclusion aspect of my work is even more important to me.
>>At this time, I do not feel there is enough on your site to
>>accurately capture non-binary choices for me to do any
>>sort of promotional work with my channel.

I'm not naming the company because I do not feel they were malicious in their choice to not be inclusive of non-binary people; it was probably simply a product/engineering/time decision. Still, it's not like I could feel GOOD about doing a promotional video for a product that excluded a non-binary option.

The long and short of it is: I'm not particularly good at being a sell out.

Decided to make a webpage that allows you to sort and organize AI generates videos with a transformation or TG theme. Right now it's just my own videos, but the button to submit videos of your own is there too!

(Try to have any submitted videos be at least a minute in length and have some sort of theme or genre in mind with reasonable non-SEO-ish titles.)

Transformations and body swaps are for everyone!

One thing I've noticed in my years of creating TGTF content is the general negativity towards FTM material when presented. On its best day, it is often simply ignored; on a bad day, it triggers negative reactions (disappointed comments, downvotes, etc.). Coupled with some creepiness or misogyny that sometimes trickles into the TGTF community, it can feel very unwelcoming to some women.

Though I do want to be clear that I don't think these people are "the norm," and the vast majority are good people expressing themselves authentically, but it really only takes one to be off-putting.

This is despite the fact that when you look at something like the transgender community, the number of people who identify as transmen is roughly equal to those who identify as transwomen. Transmen are often seen as "invisible" in the discussion. Other people have written lengthy reasons as to why this is, but I think it's very important to speak about elevating FTM discussions and content from time-to-time.

I realize I don't necessarily do this in a serious way. All of my videos have a certain sense of silliness to them. But sometimes it is possible to use silly for non-silly means. And sometimes that's giving a platform to acknowledge that transmen EXIST, that FTM content is a thing, that women are actively involved in the TGTF community, and so on.

I also realize when I make FTM content, it will probably be a significant hit to view counts, pushed down in the algorithms, and possibly maligned. It's still probably important to make and create such content, even if it only means slightly more visibility.

P.S. This isn't a statement I make light-heartedly, and it's not just about my most recent video (https://youtu.be/M4M0u3XFJOo). It's a broader trend I've seen across all forms of content that I have created over years. I knew going in the new video would be poorly received for this very reason. It was the first time in a while I actually thought about NOT posting something, even though I <3ed it probably more than anything else I have created for this channel so far. But I posted it anyway, and I sort of hated myself for my own hesitancy.

Sequels, continuations, and more!

I get asked to do a lot of sequels for various videos. I thought I'd shed some light into why these do (or do not) happen.

AN IDEA:
This is probably the most important thing. To be able to continue a video, I need to have an idea of where things go next. If something was left open-ended, I probably know where I wanted to take things (though not always); whereas some stories just felt like they had a natural end even after just one video.

POPULARITY:
"Part 2" often has diminishing returns over the initial video, with generally fewer views. A video with a lot of likes, comments, and shares is more likely to get a sequel. If you want to see more of something, probably the best thing you can do is to start sharing it places!

TECHNOLOGY LIMITATIONS/EASE OF IMPLEMENTATION:
Sometimes just because I have an idea doesn't mean I can pull off that idea. If an idea involves a crowd of people, AI isn't great with crowds. On that same note, even in traditional filmmaking, filming a crowd of people often involves, well, a crowd of people. To go along with this, sometimes something is VERY easy to make and might get a sequel simply because it isn't complicated to do so.

ME:
I'm the real X-factor in all of this. Sometimes I just LIKE something. (And sometimes I just hate something.)

I realize that I am a weird person. Even within the TG Fiction community, I am probably unique. The more I work with video and AI, the more I realize how my approach is often different than what is expected -- which often doesn't lend itself to AI work, as AI places a huge value on sameness.

That being said, AI stuff is really getting neat. The "start frame" feature has been fantastic in VEO, and even creating start frames is getting a lot more fun (see attached).

But I think 2026 is when I assert even more "me" into things, even when those things might make people turn away. There will probably be some unconventional swaps coming up and a long overdue exclusively female to male transformation video. I don't want to lean into the conventional or the expected.

Happy 2026!

It's probably the video I get the most requests for a sequel for...

...and so work has just begun.

Despite the relatively poor reception to my latest video so far, S41FT will be back at some point! Though the next one will probably deal with themes that are probably even LESS popular than the current video, while still being transformation/TG related.

I know what I enjoy! :P

Probably not the next thing I do, but pondering making something that combined so many of my favorite things that are generally disliked by most people visiting my channel.

So, body swapping with robots and a music video -- both things that have tended to under perform. What's the likelihood that I can actually pull it off? I don't know. Sometimes it's just fun to share the worst ideas.

A few weeks ago I called myself an SEO Princess. Now I feel like the reverse of that! Haha.
