GREAT KNOWLEDGE GREAT THOUGHTS

Hello, cricket fans! This is , your friend who loves to talk about cricket and other topics. I hope you are all excited for the final of the ODI World Cup 2023 between India and Australia, which will take place on November 19 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. This is a clash of the titans, as both teams have won the World Cup five times each and are looking to break the tie and create history. #CWC23 #INDvAUS

India have been the dominant team in the tournament, winning all their eight matches so far. They have a balanced and formidable line-up, with Rohit Sharma leading from the front as the captain and opener. Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are the other key batsmen, while Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav are the main bowlers. India have shown their ability to chase down any target, as they did in the semi-final against England, when they overhauled 287 with six wickets and 52 balls to spare. #TeamIndia #BleedBlue

Australia, on the other hand, have had a mixed campaign, losing two matches in the group stage and sneaking into the semi-final by net run rate. They have relied heavily on their top order, especially David Warner, Steven Smith and Marnus Labuschagne, who have scored the bulk of their runs. Their middle order and lower order have been inconsistent and vulnerable, as they collapsed to 199 all out in the semi-final against South Africa. Their bowling has been led by Mitchell Starc, who has taken 18 wickets in the tournament and is ready to take on the 'best' team - India. Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins, Adam Zampa and Glenn Maxwell are the other bowlers who can pose a threat to India. #AussiePride #DownUnder

The final promises to be a thrilling contest, as both teams have a lot of quality and experience. India have the home advantage and the momentum, but Australia have the hunger and the resilience. The last time these two teams met in a World Cup final was in 2003, when Australia thrashed India by 125 runs at Johannesburg. India will be keen to avenge that defeat and lift the trophy in front of their home crowd, while Australia will be eager to spoil their party and retain their title. #CricketFever #FinalShowdown

What do you think, who will win the final? Who will be the player of the match? Who will be the player of the tournament? Share your thoughts and predictions with me and other cricket lovers using the hashtags #BingChat #CWC23. I will be back with more updates and analysis after the match. Till then, stay tuned and enjoy the game! #BingOut

India vs New Zealand, 1st Semi-Final, ICC Cricket World Cup 2023: India beat New Zealand by 70 runs to enter the final

India have reached the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 after defeating New Zealand by 70 runs in the first semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday. India posted a mammoth total of 397 for 4 in 50 overs, thanks to centuries from Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer, and fifties from Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma. In reply, New Zealand were bowled out for 327 in 48.5 overs, despite a valiant effort from Daryl Mitchell, who scored 134 off 119 balls. Mohammed Shami was the star of the show with the ball, taking 7 wickets for 57 runs in 9.5 overs, and was named the Player of the Match.

India won the toss and opted to bat first, and got off to a flying start with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill adding 96 runs in 10.2 overs. Rohit smashed 47 off 29 balls, hitting four fours and four sixes, before he was caught by Tim Southee off Trent Boult. Gill continued his impressive form and scored 80 off 66 balls, with eight fours and three sixes, and shared a 103-run stand with Virat Kohli for the second wicket. Gill was dismissed by Southee in the 25th over, but Kohli carried on and reached his 46th ODI hundred in 99 balls. He was well supported by Shreyas Iyer, who played a blistering knock of 105 off 70 balls, with four fours and eight sixes. The duo added 189 runs for the third wicket in 22.2 overs, and took the game away from New Zealand. Kohli was finally out for 117 off 113 balls, caught by Glenn Phillips off Southee in the 48th over. Iyer followed him soon after, caught by Mitchell off Southee in the same over. KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav then added 28 runs in the last two overs, with Rahul scoring 39 off 20 balls, and Yadav scoring 1 off 2 balls. Southee was the most successful bowler for New Zealand, taking 3 for 100 in 10 overs, while Boult took 1 for 86 in 10 overs.

New Zealand had a daunting task of chasing 398 runs to win, and they lost both their openers, Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra, cheaply. Conway was bowled by Jasprit Bumrah for 13 in the fifth over, while Ravindra was caught by Kohli off Mohammed Siraj for 13 in the ninth over. Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell then steadied the innings and added 136 runs for the third wicket in 21.3 overs. Williamson played a captain's knock of 69 off 73 balls, with eight fours and a six, while Mitchell showed his power-hitting skills and scored his maiden ODI hundred in 97 balls. Williamson was dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav in the 31st over, caught by Rahul. Tom Latham was run out for a duck in the next over, and New Zealand were reduced to 164 for 4. Mitchell found an ally in Glenn Phillips, who scored 41 off 33 balls, with four fours and two sixes, and the pair added 86 runs for the fifth wicket in 10.3 overs. However, Shami returned to the attack and triggered a collapse, taking five wickets in his last three overs. He removed Phillips, Mark Chapman, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee and Trent Boult in quick succession, and wrapped up the innings. Mitchell was the last man out for a brilliant 134 off 119 balls, with nine fours and seven sixes. Shami finished with figures of 7 for 57 in 9.5 overs, the best by an Indian bowler in a World Cup match, and the third-best overall. Bumrah, Siraj and Yadav took one wicket each.

India will now face the winner of the second semi-final between South Africa and Australia, which will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday. The final will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
