বলছি আমাদের প্রবাসী ভাই-বোনদের কথা, যারা পরিবারের আপন মানুষগুলোর কাছ থেকে বহু দূরে থেকে জীবন কাটিয়ে দেন। মা-বাবা, ভাই-বোন ও সন্তানের সুখের কথা ভেবে নিজের সুখটাকেই বিসর্জন দেন। কখনো কখনো দুঃখ-কষ্ট, এমনকি কঠিন বিপদের সময়ও পাশে কাউকে পান না।

সম্প্রতি একজন সৌদি প্রবাসী ভাই গলার সামনে বিশাল একটি ক্যান্সারের টিউমার নিয়ে চিকিৎসার জন্য আমার কাছে আসেন। তাঁর কষ্টের কথাগুলো শুনে আমার খুবই খারাপ লেগেছিল। বারবার একটি কথাই মনে হচ্ছিল—এত বড় একটি বিপদের সময়ও তিনি কীভাবে ছুটি পেলেন না!

যাই হোক, সৃষ্টিকর্তা চাইলে মানুষের কোনো বাধাই মানুষকে বিপদে আটকে রাখতে পারে না। যখন জানতে পারলাম, ছুটি না পেয়ে জীবন বাঁচানোর জন্য ভাইটি শেষ পর্যন্ত একেবারেই দেশে চলে এসেছেন, তখন মনে হলো—এই মানুষটির পরিবারের কী হবে?

সৃষ্টিকর্তার কাছে প্রার্থনা করলাম এবং সবার কাছে ভাইটির জন্য দোয়া চাইলাম—তিনি যেন দ্রুত সম্পূর্ণ সুস্থ হয়ে আবার স্বাভাবিক জীবনে ফিরে যেতে পারেন এবং কর্মজীবন শুরু করতে পারেন। সৃষ্টিকর্তার কৃপায় সবার দোয়া ও আশীর্বাদে ভাইটি এখন সুস্থতার দিকে এগিয়ে যাচ্ছেন।

Imagine being thousands of miles away from your entire family—your parents, siblings, children, and friends. Even when you want to be close to them, you cannot, and you cannot get the hugs of the people you love. Moments like these in life are incredibly difficult, yet this seems to be the reality for many.

I am talking about our expatriate brothers and sisters who spend their lives far away from their loved ones. Thinking about the happiness of their parents, siblings, and children, they sacrifice their own happiness. Sometimes, even during times of sorrow, hardship, or serious danger, they have no one by their side.

Recently, a Saudi expatriate brother came to me for treatment with a huge cancerous tumor at the front of his throat. Hearing about his suffering made me very sad. One question kept coming to my mind—how could he not have been granted leave even during such a serious crisis?

Anyway, when the Creator wills, no obstacle can keep a person trapped in danger. When I learned that, after not being granted leave, he eventually returned to Bangladesh to save his life, I began to wonder—what would happen to this man’s family?

I prayed to the Creator and asked everyone to pray for him, so that he could recover fully as soon as possible, return to his normal life, and resume his work. By the grace of the Creator, with everyone’s prayers and blessings, he is now gradually recovering.

I always want to inform and raise awareness among people in our country and abroad about diseases and their treatment. The goal is simple: everyone should become aware, seek treatment from a nearby doctor at the right time, recover, and live a healthy life; no one should fall victim to improper treatment due to a lack of awareness.

In 12 hours, approximately 3.6 million people learned about an expatriate brother’s physical suffering during his time abroad. They watched a video with me and prayed for his recovery. Listening to the suffering of an expatriate brother may make you feel very sad. He had to endure this situation for nearly three years. As the tumor grew and he could no longer tolerate the pain, he came home to save his life. The expatriate man came to me with a heart full of pain, suffering, and hope. I learned of his distress: in childhood an accident had left the bones inside and outside his nose crooked. Instead of seeing a specialist, he consulted a village doctor and took homeopathic medicines; although he got temporary relief, he did not make a full recovery. In that condition he went abroad and ran into trouble. In pain and unbearable suffering he survived for nearly three months eating only yogurt and juice. Hoping to get better, he consulted doctors abroad, and they recommended surgery. However, instead of having the operation there, he watched medical videos on social media and returned to Bangladesh. একটা কথা আমি সবসময় বিশ্বাস করি, যত দেখব তত শিখব। একটা সময় ছিল ছোট্ট একটা বিষয় নিজের অজানা থাকার কারণে অন্যের কাছে জানতে হতো। কিন্তু এখন সেটা অনেকটাই কমে গেছে কারণ মানুষ ঘরে বসেই অনেক কিছু জানতে এবং শিখতে পারছে।

বিশ্বায়নের এই যুগে অনেকের হাতেই রয়েছে অ্যান্ড্রয়েড মোবাইল ফোন। জানার, দেখার ও শোনার জন্য রয়েছে গুগলসহ বিভিন্ন মাধ্যম, যেগুলো ব্যবহার করে মানুষ নিজের অজানা অনেক কিছুই জানতে ও শিখতে পারছে। ফলে মানুষের জীবনযাত্রা সহজ হয়েছে।

রোগ-ব্যাধি নিয়ে আমি অনেক কিছু বলছি, লিখছি এবং দেখাচ্ছি। জানি না সেটা থেকে আপনারা কতটুকু উপকৃত হচ্ছেন। তবে আমি চাই আপনারা সচেতন হবেন, রোগ ও চিকিৎসা সম্পর্কে জানবেন। সঠিক সময়ে আপনি নিকটস্থ চিকিৎসকের শরণাপন্ন হয়ে চিকিৎসা নেবেন।

তাহলে হয়তো অনেক ছোট রোগ থেকে বড় সমস্যা হওয়া আগেই নিজেকে রক্ষা করতে পারবেন। আমার একজন সম্মানিত রোগী সামান্য কানপাকা রোগকে অবহেলা করে চিকিৎসা না নেওয়ার কারণে যে ক্ষতি হয়েছে, তা দেখাবো আগামীকাল বিকাল ৫:০০ টায়।

I always believe one thing: the more I see, the more I learn. There was a time when, because of not knowing even about small matters, you had to ask others to learn. But now that has decreased a lot because people can learn and find out many things while sitting at home.

In this age of globalization, many people have Android mobile phones. For learning, watching, and listening there are Google and various other media, which people use to discover and learn many things they did not know before. As a result, people’s lives have become easier.

I talk, write, and show a lot about illnesses and diseases. I don’t know how much you are benefiting from that. But I want you to be aware and to learn about illnesses and treatments. At the right time, turn to your nearest doctor and receive treatment.

আখ বা গেন্ডারি একটি প্রাকৃতিক পানীয়, যা শরীরে দ্রুত শক্তি জোগায় এবং ক্লান্তি দূর করতে সাহায্য করে। এটি শরীরকে ঠান্ডা রাখে ও গরমে পানিশূন্যতা কমায়। আখের রস হজমশক্তি উন্নত করে এবং লিভারের কার্যকারিতা ভালো রাখতে সহায়তা করে। এতে থাকা অ্যান্টিঅক্সিডেন্ট রোগ প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা বাড়ায় এবং শরীরকে সুরক্ষা দেয়। কোষ্ঠকাঠিন্য কমাতেও আখ কিছুটা সহায়ক। তবে ডায়াবেটিস রোগীদের এটি পরিমিতভাবে খাওয়া উচিত।

এত উপকারিতা থাকার পরও হতে পারে ক্ষতি, যখন আপনি সেটা অস্বাস্থ্যকরভাবে খাবেন। বিশেষ করে রাস্তাঘাটে প্রচণ্ড গরমে তৃষ্ণা মেটাতে দূষিত পানির বরফ মিশ্রিত বা স্যাকারিন মিশ্রিত আখের রস যখন খাবেন, তখন উপকারের চেয়ে ক্ষতি হওয়ার আশঙ্কা বেশি থাকে। তাই হাটে-বাজারে, দোকানে এবং ভ্যানগাড়িতে পাওয়া যায় আস্ত আখ। যেগুলো কিনে বাড়িতে নিয়ে ভালো পানি দিয়ে ধুয়ে চিবিয়ে খেতে পারলে আপনি অনেক বেশি উপকৃত হবেন।
