Welcome to Queer Cinema Classics: the only timeline where Hollywood was always queer, the studios were run by drag queens, and Oscar never wasn’t gay.
We’re rewriting cinema history with a fabulous twist:
What if every blockbuster, classic, and B-movie was made through a lavender lens? From sapphic space operas to disco noir thrillers, this is an alternate Hollywood where heteronormativity never made the final cut.
Expect satirical deep-dives, mockumentaries, fake trailers, reimagined film history, and a lot of queer-coded nonsense.
Hit subscribe for your weekly dose of unreleased cult classics and historical revisionism with sparkle.
Because in this timeline, the gay agenda runs the studio.

CHANNEL UPDATE! One of the questions we're frequently asked in the comments from people who wish to support the channel is "Do you have a Patreon page?" Well, sort of. We have a Buy Me A Coffee page! And seeing YouTube is throttling queer content, it really is an amazing way to help us keep the channel going. As you know, each episode of QCC is a little mini-movie in and of itself, so that costs a bit to produce, so anything you can spare really helps! keep the show running!
Plus, let's face it, our host could use a strong cup of black coffee right about now.

TRIVIA TIME!
Our latest episode, "A Hot Tin Menagerie of Desire" stars Neil Redfield (Who also co-wrote the movie segment with his co-star Brandon Grimes), who also plays a role in an episode of HBO's The Gilded Age! Neil is an incandescently brilliant actor to watch out for, and we're proud to feature his many talents in this episode!

CHANNEL UPDATE
Richard (The show's director) here: Directing Queer Cinema Classics is therapy for me... and also a way of bringing a little joy to people in a hideous time. The show is a blast to do. I get to work with tremendously talented actors, writers and crew folk. But, dealing with YT's devilish algorithm is a pain in the ass, and so is their throttling of queer content. So, I was planning on cutting down the uploads to one episode a month (from our usual weekly). But seeing that the future is getting a bit grimmer, and the LGBTQIA needs all the positive media they can, I've bounced back to putting out the show on a weekly basis. We're all playing our part now to make things better in some way... and maybe this is my part.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the new episode that'll be premiering on Friday... and until then ... stay safe, stay happy, and stay fabulous!

BONUS EPISODE! Alex and Graham's Afternoon of Wonders is a short film that we made using a vintage Super 8 camera, a couple of rolls of Kodak Vision 3 negative film stock, and a couple of our lovely friends! It was really made to just test out the camera to see if it was still working, but we loved the results so much, we thought we'd share it with our Queer Cinema Classics audience! Hope you enjoy it, and if you do, please make sure to leave a comment! The dark gods of YouTube love that sort of thing (And well, we do too!).

Wishing all of our fabulous fans a very Happy Whatever You Celebrate. I hope it's full of joy, merriment, laughter, friendship ... and, if you're finding yourself not quite feeling it this year (Trust me, I understand that feeling), kick back and watch The Gay as Christmas Yuletide Special. I can't promise anything, but you never know.
Anyway, much love from all of us here at Queer Cinema Classics, and we'll be back with brand new episodes on January 2nd!
