This video hits home for me—not the disturbing gore stuff thankfully, but the financial exploitation.
The mindset that AI will replace most jobs is not only a lie, but it’s sold to the public by corporate billionaires who are *perpetrating it as an intentional injustice.*
It’s less “AI makes xyz job irrelevant” and more “They decided to call us ‘irrelevant’ so they could screw us.”
I’m thankful for voices like @DPDebunks right now.
I consider @MCToon a good friend, but in retrospect I agree that things got carried a bit too far tonight on @qiqopip‘s Discord when Witsit showed up.
Even if we didn’t create a situation, even if the person deserves mocking, even if they serve themselves on a silver platter … there are still some things that we should refuse to make entertainment out of. A family coming apart is surely one of those things.
