Exams are killing me so here’s a little art dump / update!! Four weeks… four weeks and I’m free…. 1: Concept art for chapter one and a lil composition practice 2: Redesign for my gal Mona (will properly introduce her when I have better art lol) 3: Magnus archives… 4: Quick little Dionysus design 5: Uriel (Minor antagonist, you’ve seen him before)
I’ve seen a few people confuse these characters with Odysseus and Telemachus, so I thought I’d introduce the main characters of the webcomic I’ve been work on:D Their names are Volkov and Cole, and you’ll probably see them a lot in the future on this channel🙂↕️
Super busy, so here’s a Megumi Ishitani lighting study with my ocs (ref at end) and a bunch of doodles from this week.. I yearn for the summer.. (Somebody free me from school stuff I wanna work on videos😔)
Have my redrawn Antinous expression tests ft. the suitors. Except not really because all I changed even marginally was his face. My artstyle is like a shifting unthinkable mound that absorbs any piece of media I am currently consuming (take a wild guess lol ) What’s next? Who knows! One day I will properly get round to hold them down.
I‘ve been seeing the concept art for Pretty please I don’t want to be a magical girl around for a while so it’s amazing to see how much attention the pilot’s gotten on YouTube:D It’s definitely worth a watch for those who haven’t seen it yet, the characters are so refreshing and their designs are BEAUTIFULLL.
(Btw my final exams are coming up soon so if I’m super slow with animatics that’s why😔)
Uncharacteristic life update, but I got offers from all my choice animation schools! I’m doing a smaller more traditional storyboard project in preparation, so here are some sneak peeks of the development process :DD
Fun fact: the reason why Odysseus doesn’t look as haggard as I want him to be in my animatics is because expressions are super important for me, and beards kinda make it hard to draw subtle emotions. Conclusion: I’m taking away Odysseus’ beard privileges until I’m better at drawing expressions on people with facial hair
I can finally say that I’m part of the official visuals for @imcasperfox Stories from Styx! The musical releases globally on March 20th, so if you want to support me, Casper and 26 other artists (most of which you’ll know already *cough cough*) then consider tuning in for the livestream:D
