I did it. I don't think I have taken a crack at 'that Wanaka tree' since before the branch got broken off it a few years back. Shame that. The balance is off for me now :). Anyway, I couldn't get at the angle I had hoped for as there was a huge line of people parked right in front of it but I have to admit I like this simplicity. ISO 100, F11, 60 seconds, 42mm for those who are curious.
Oh, and I have used my new favourite tool in Photolab. It has been there all along and I somehow didn't realise what I was missing. I will do a video after my holiday to share what that tool is.
