I am a Kurd, and I am proud of my people and our homeland. We may not have a recognized country, but we have our own flag, language, and history. We have always respected every nation and every people, white, black, Muslim, non-Muslim. When wars break out, we worry and help however we can.

Yet, instead of gratitude, those we once protected now call us terrorists. No one stands with us when our people are in danger. Even now, our innocent people are being killed in neighboring countries, and the world stays silent. The most painful part is the innocent children who are losing their lives in tragic and heartbreaking ways.

Throughout history, the countries around Kurdistan have tried to destroy us because they fear us, but now the truth is clear, and the world can see which side truly commits terror.

Being Kurdish is both a gift and a burden. Our hearts carry the weight of a people who long for peace but are denied it. Maybe, in another life, we will finally be free to live in peace.

We are not afraid, for Allah is always with us. We will wait and see with patience. The day will come when what happens today will happen to them..
