Letting go is the hardest thing to do
When my every thought is stuck on you

I've been searching for the right way to express my feelings about the Charlie Kirk martyrdom this week.

It's only been 2 days, but it feels a lifetime since I read the news. I had only recently started watching his content, but I could already see why he was so polarizing.

Unapologetically defending his beliefs in the politely arena but always willing to present the Gospel when the opportunity presented itself. He was quickly becoming one of my go to creators on YouTube.

I pray for his wife and daughters, and the many fans and friends he left behind.

I also pray for the assassin, the people mocking his death, and those celebrating this evil act.

Oh, God. Forgive us. Lead us from temptation and deliver us from evil.

Numbering our days is one of the best reminders to work towards God's Kingdom and not your own.

This life isn't about me or you, but about God and how you can reflect Him, do His will, and carry out His plan on this world.

It's about dying to ourselves and letting Christ live through us.

Church family, redeem the time - Focus our efforts on the Kingdom. For we are pilgrims in this world, working while waiting for the life to come.
