My name is Josh Snodgrass and I am a Christian guitarist. In 2013 my wife and I (with our 2 little boys) sold nearly everything we had and launched a great adventure of faith. We began touring the United States serving in primarily small, rural churches. We felt our calling was to share the Gospel with unbelievers and to encourage Christians in their faith. Since that time, I have done over 1000 concerts and church services but more importantly, I've seen people get saved by God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.
Over the last 5 years, God has grown my YouTube channel as people from around the world discover my music and use it for their Bible study and prayer times, as background for their workdays and churches use it in their services for offering and communion. Hi Friends! I can't tell you all how thankful I am for the outpouring of prayers and support this last month or so. It really means so much to me. This has been a difficult season, but your encouragement has given me new inspiration to keep recording music. Hi Friends! The world is dark right now with so many terrible things going on out there, but I believe that means our light as Christians will shine even brighter. I want this channel to be a place of peace and rest for believers where you can have a break from the barrage of news, problems and spiritual attack. My hope is that you can come here and feel the presence of God as you listen to familiar worship music and that you can be reminded that God loves you so much! May God bless each of you this week.

LEGAL ISSUE UPDATE: Thanks everyone for praying for me and family during this difficult time as we dealt with YouTube pirates. These issues are as resolved as they are going to be for the time being. On YouTube as soon as one pirate is taken down, others pop up.
I would humbly ask that you all make sure you are listening to instrumental music on channels belonging to an actual Christian musician. There are a lot of channels out there with names something like "Christian Guitar" that are either just AI generated or stolen/altered recordings of actual Christian guitarists. If a channel doesn't have at least some videos that show a guitar player actually playing it's probably fake and/or pirated. We're living in a world where it's really easy for criminals to steal and take the income from legitimate Christian musicians who work hard to create music for you. It matters where you listen to music.

Hi Friends, I was just thinking about hearing my dad play the guitar when I was a little kid. He had an old classical guitar and he would play and sing old hymns and Christian songs that he and his friend had written in college. I remember one of my favorites he would sing was The Rock that is Higher than I. The lyrics were from an old poem but he and his friend had composed a melody for it. For that song he would use a picking pattern with his thumb and first 3 fingers. I've never been able to play that picking pattern like he did but I think that a lot of my picking is influenced by the way he played when I was little. He rarely plays guitar anymore but I'm thankful he taught me music when I was little. He got me started on this journey of learning guitar almost exactly 40 years ago!

Hi Friends! Many of you know that I'm a big fan of Keith Green's music. His songs speak truth in a powerful way that you just don't hear anymore. A few years ago, I embarked on a project to record note for note instrumental covers of 5 of his most popular songs like "O Lord, You're Beautiful" and "There is a Redeemer". This was probably the most difficult project I've ever attempted. I never released those songs (other than in a few of my old YouTube videos) but I finally released them today on iTunes, Spotify and my website. If you're a fan of Keith Green's music, I think these recordings will take you back.

Hi Friends, Many of you know that I took a leap of faith and released an album of original songs this year. It's been removed twice from YouTube so far in the last few months but praise God it's back up again! It's so weird because when I have done concerts this year, this is by far the most popular album I have at the table but it hasn't really found much traction with my online audience yet. Life has been such a roller coaster for me recently. It's been full of difficulties but also joy as the Lord works in my life. A few days ago, my son had the idea to try a different type of video. He wanted you all to experience what it's like to sit in the same room with me when I play guitar. We just set up 2 mics and 3 cameras and I played straight through 8 worship songs and hymns all in one take. I can't tell you what an amazing thing God did. I know many of you think highly of me as a guitarist, but I can promise you that normally when I play through even a few songs in a row there will be some mistakes. I was able to get through all 8 songs without having to stop (because sometimes my fingers get tripped up) and they turned out so wonderful. I just want to give glory to God because I know that apart from the Spirit, I could never have done that. I can't wait to share these songs with you on Tuesday morning. (We're having to submit songs the week before to help prevent the pirate/copyright drama we've been having). Have a great weekend everyone!
