My name is Josh Snodgrass and I am a Christian guitarist. In 2013 my wife and I (with our 2 little boys) sold nearly everything we had and launched a great adventure of faith. We began touring the United States serving in primarily small, rural churches. We felt our calling was to share the Gospel with unbelievers and to encourage Christians in their faith. Since that time, I have done over 1000 concerts and church services but more importantly, I've seen people get saved by God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.
Over the last 5 years, God has grown my YouTube channel as people from around the world discover my music and use it for their Bible study and prayer times, as background for their workdays and churches use it in their services for offering and communion. I had a great question on my last post and I'll share the answer here. "How can I tell if a YouTube channel is AI?":
(even one of these clues is enough, you don't have to do a ton of digging to find out!)
1 - If it's a channel created within the last year or so and they are posting tons of content it's AI. Real musicians take a long time to record music. We can't post 3 hours videos of new music every day like AI can.
2 - If it's a music channel, there should be a musician. That means if you click on their "videos" tab of their channel, they should have some videos that show them playing and/or singing. If not, it's almost certainly AI.
3 - If the channel has a name like "Christmas Guitar", "Christmas Melodies" or "Worship Faith Music" or anything generic like that, it's almost certainly pirates or AI.
4 - There should the name of a person or group with a way to contact them through a website, social medial pages, email, etc...
5 - You should be able to find photos of the person who's the musician and a bio somewhere.
6 - You probably won't be able to tell just by listening to the music, AI has gotten very convincing.

Hi Friends! I recently shared a message about how AI is causing problems for legitimate Christian musicians. It may sound good but you know what it won't do for you? It will never pray for you! I get comments and emails all the time from listeners who had a loved one pass or are going through some kind of trial (health, financial, relational, etc...). My family and I are faithful to pray for you and we're thankful for all of you who pray for us. That's an amazing thing about how the Body of Christ functions. We love each other, care for each other's needs and we pray for each other. AI can never be a part of that. We are so thankful for all of you who are part of the community here on this channel!

Hi Friends! It's December and AI Christmas music is everywhere. I am of the belief that real humans should be the ones creating music (and other art). AI can only imitate, if it takes the place of human artists, we will have lost something that's really important. Please be careful this Christmas that you're listening to real music from real people - it's getting harder and harder to tell. If in doubt, just do a search of the name (do they have a website?) or go to their channel page. If there's no real person shown playing an instrument in any of their videos, it's probably AI. All of us real human artists are going through a time when we are increasingly losing listeners to AI slop which makes it harder to pay the bills. -Side note: When AI can clean my garage I'll be impressed.
