Reminder to replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Since mine were almost 10 years old, I just replaced all of mine with new detectors. They should be replaced every 10 years anyway. I chose these from Kidde and I put one combination smoke/carbon monoxide detector on each floor and replaced the rest with regular smoke detectors. They are interconnected and they include a 10 year backup battery! No more beeping in the middle of the night for 10 years (I hope).
