Medicine says: Shedding the old, welcome the new 🐍

I heard this voice since last year when I was in the jungle and the need to shave my head was louder each day but I couldn't make myself do it because I was too afraid of what people around me would say & think about me. But yesterday before the ceremony, I gathered all my strengths and did it!

My beauty does not depend on my hair & I want to feel beautiful with or without it. I want to love myself so deeply that what others say or think does not matter to me. I want to truly love my flaws without hiding behind my hair. I want to let go of what no longer serves me.
Of course, my hair will slowly grow back and I will grow with it.

As I walk the path of self-realization, holding the space for others to come back to their truth, I too need to walk my talk 🙏🏽🫶🏽
