Most writing advice will tell you "one scene must cause the next." 😶
But stringing scenes together randomly won't save a weak story...
If anything, you'll make revision harder than it needs to be.

What actually matters is the type of scene doing the causing (and the deliberate order they unfold in).
So I made a little video to show you the 6 scene types that create proper Sequences (not just chains of events).
