All of these are from the forthcoming book, 'All That I Commanded You: 713 New Testament Commandments (The Way of Discipleship)'. After it's out we plan to also release a Jewish version, 'Mussar Bible: 713 Mitzvot for Tikkun Olam'.
I'm kickstarting this audio program now because I want this two-year track to begin in the fall, and because this project has only been possible thanks to our members and I wanted to give you back something special. Which is why, starting this Sunday, I'll also be sharing one introductory chapter a week with our online community.

I can't believe it's already been two weeks since I unveiled the project I've been working on for the last year and a half - a book listing the 713 commandments of the New Testament, along with the verses where they're given and related commands.
I can't say how much I appreciate the encouragement and support that poured in since then - and I'm happy to report that not only have I been making steady progress, but the local situation I told you about has also been mostly defused.
The Master's commands are at the heart of our love-relationship with him. They're also our mission - nothing more, nothing less. Yet if you were to ask most believers today to list ALL that we have been commanded, how high would they get before trailing off?
That's why this project is so explosively powerful. It's also why starting this September 1 I'm going to be dropping one audio commandment a day. I'll also be sharing a weekly introductory chapter from the book with our online community. The book itself won't be published for another several months, but these beginning materials are ready to go and I'm feeling a deep urgency that now is the time.
This 'Daily Commandment' discipleship program will be two years long and each of these audios will only be available for 24 hours after they're released, so if you're going to join me - or if you know anyone who should - NOW is the time!

🆕 713 New Testament Commandments 📖 (And please pray for me) 🙏
Tonight begins a special timeframe on the Jewish calendar. I thought it would also be a meaningful time to tell you about the project I've been working on for the last SIXTEEN MONTHS. And honestly, I need to ask for prayer too.
You know how there are 613 commandments in the Torah? Many Christians hear that and are like, "Wow so many, good thing we only have two now!" But what if I told you there are actually ONE HUNDRED MORE commandments in the NEW TESTAMENT?
That's literally what I've been working on: a book listing everything Yeshua commanded us, along with supporting verses and groups of related imperatives. I've also written introductory chapters laying a theological foundation for the commandments, casting a vision inspired by the Jewish 'Daf Yomi' program, and exploring Hebrew secrets such as the gematria for 713.
God-willing, after this is published we'll also release a Jewish version titled "Mussar Bible: 713 Mitzvot for Tikkun Olam". And after THAT the plan is to release these as audiobooks and then begin dropping one commandment a day by podcast.
You can see what a powerful discipleship resource this will be - and how it will set believers on a trajectory towards greater support for Israel and a higher view of the Torah. There's much more I could say about all this but I want to keep this short so I'll just finish with some vulnerability.
😔 PRAY FOR ME
I've been feeling really discouraged lately. The final stage is these sets of related commandments. I've been working on them for the last four months and am about a third of the way through the second pass, but it's still going to take another month or two and I'm just tired.
Compounding this, two weeks ago the management at our mobile home park falsely accused me of theft and barred my entire family from future community events. I'm dealing with the shock and anger of that, along with the fear they may be building a case to evict us, and have been forced to divert time away from this project to research my legal rights and plan my appeal.
In addition to this, YouTube just denied my third appeal so we have officially lost that source of income at a time when we really need it. And X suspended my Psalter account for no reason. And my internet was down yesterday, along with my spirits. I just feel like I've been fighting battles on every front.
So anyways, please pray for me and if you're into spiritual warefare, do that too. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an element of demonic resistance to all this - while still believing that God is sovereign over all.

Pray for our finances, too. We took multiple hits this last year, especially in reaction to the Israel Platform. 📅 PROPHETIC TIMEFRAME
Last thought - tonight is Rosh Chodesh Elul, the first day of the sixth month, and starts the forty-day countup to "the Day" of Yom Kippur. It's actually my birthday on the ancient Hebrew calendar, but more importantly, it's a season of awakening. Starting tomorrow morning, the shofar will be blown daily and Jewish people around the world will do everything they can to get right with each other and with God before the looming "Days of Awe".
Obviously all that is prophetic and is the historical timeframe we are in right now. The Master is coming back for a bride who loves him AND keeps his commandments. I have experienced the 713 project as a divine commission, and I believe that it will be used mightily to prepare the body of Christ for the imminent return of her Jewish Messiah and bridegroom.

The ninth day of the fifth month on the Jewish calendar, called Tisha B'Av, starts this evening.
Jews around the world will be fasting, recalling the tragedies that befell Israel during this time, reading the book of Lamentations, and crying out to God.
But it's also a time of hope! God says in Zechariah 8:19 that in the future this time of mourning will become a day of joy.
In the meantime, Tisha B'Av is an opportunity to stand in solidarity with Israel and intercede on behalf of the Jewish people.
