“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” — John 1:1

This verse is often waved like a flag by Trinitarians to prove the divinity of Jesus. But in truth, John 1:1 is not the foundation of the Trinity—it’s the very hammer that breaks it apart. Upon honest inspection, the verse is loaded with contradictions that not only expose the confusion in Christian theology but also threaten the survival of Christianity’s core beliefs.

1. The Word Was With God — Then How Was the Word God?

The verse says, “the Word was with God.”
Question: If the Word (Jesus) was with God, how can He also be God at the same time?

This is not deep theology—it’s simple logic:

If A is with B, then A is not B.

If Jesus (the Word) is with God, He cannot be the same God.


Claiming He is God while being with God turns language into nonsense. Christianity is asking believers to accept a contradiction as truth—and to call that contradiction a “mystery.”

2. How Many Gods Are We Talking About?

Let’s break it down:

Jesus is the Word.

The Word was with God the Father.

The Word was also God.


That gives us two:

1. The Father


2. Jesus (the Word)



And then there's the Holy Spirit—also called God. Now we’re at three. But remember: the Bible says “God is One” (Deuteronomy 6:4). Christianity turns that “One” into three, then calls it one again. That’s not revelation. That’s mathematical fraud.

3. Was God Mute While Jesus Was on Earth?

Here’s the real problem:
If Jesus is the Word, and He came to earth—did God the Father become wordless?
Did the eternal, all-powerful God lose His ability to speak for 33 years?

If the Word left heaven, what remained with the Father? A silent God? A God missing a part of Himself?

This turns the Almighty into a crippled being, dependent on Jesus to speak. That’s not divine unity. That’s divine weakness.

4. Trinities Within Trinities — A Theological Disaster

Now consider this:

If the Word is God, then:

The Word of the Father is God,

The Word of Jesus is God,

The Word of the Holy Spirit is also God.


That creates a new Trinity inside each Person of the Trinity—making nine divine entities. Not “Three-in-One,” but “Three-times-Three.”

So what exactly are Christians worshipping? One God? Three? Nine? Infinity?

The doctrine begins to collapse under its own contradictions.

5. A Doctrine That Destroys Itself

Christians defend the Trinity by saying it’s a “divine mystery”—a concept beyond human understanding. But that’s a cover. The truth is: the Trinity is not deep—it’s deeply flawed.

John 1:1 was meant to exalt Jesus, but it backfires. It creates theological confusion, multiplies gods, and leaves no clear image of who or what God really is.

Instead of proving the Trinity, John 1:1 exposes its cracks.

Instead of building Christianity, it destroys its foundation.
