Delightfully Dharmic
Hello Delightful Humans,
I wanted to pop on to share that I have been working hard on new episodes for you, trying my hand at vlogging, and have some amazing guest interviews on their way to you soon. However, my family unfortunately hit a setback. My husband had a pretty brutal knee injury that resulted in a ride in an ambulance, hospital stay for a couple of nights, and emergency surgery to save his ability to walk. Ugh, it was hard on my empathetic heart to see him in so much pain! He is home recovering now and we are navigating the next steps in his healing.
Videos will be posted again soon! Thank you for your patience and understanding!

✨ A Grateful Goodbye & A Dharmic New Beginning ✨
To all my Delightful Humans—thank you for being on this wild, wise, and wonder-filled ride with me.
After two years of laughter, learning, and deeply human conversations, Delightfully Dysfunctional is transforming. My amazing co-host and friend, James Timmons, has recently moved to Tennessee and is building a full and beautiful life there. I’m sending him SO much love and gratitude for his collaboration, his insights, and the joy he brought to this shared creation.. He’s excited about this next evolution too and in full support!
As James embraces his new chapter, I’m stepping into mine. The podcast is now becoming Delightfully Dharmic—a solo offering that blends evidence-based mental health with intuitive practices and timeless wisdom traditions.
Delightfully Dharmic is a space for nervous system repair and spiritual awakening, for grief and integration, for rituals, relationships, and real talk. It’s where psychology meets soul, and sacred mischief is not only welcome—it’s celebrated!
This space is for you, my Delightful Humans. For the seekers, the deep feelers, the curious and compassionate. I hope you’ll continue to grow with me and continue to be curious about what it means to live an aligned path. Take what serves you from his podcast and channel and weave it into your own journey. .

🌙✨ Something is stirring… ✨🌙
Dear Delightful Humans,
There’s a shift happening behind the scenes—a quiet unfolding, a new rhythm humming just beneath the surface.
This space is evolving in ways that feel deeply aligned and wildly expansive. I’ve been listening closely… to the whispers of growth, to the calls for change, to the invitations that life extends when we’re brave enough to say yes.
I can’t say too much just yet—but I can promise this:
The heart of this space will remain rooted in honesty, healing, and the sacred messiness of being human.
Only now, we’re about to go even deeper.
Stay tuned.
Stay curious.
Something beautiful is coming and it is right around the corner!
With love,

I am so excited about the latest episode that was released, Beauty from Ashes with Danette Haag! This woman has a message that is valuable for every person to hear, one of resilience, strength, and the power of believing in oneself. As a child Danette survived a house explosion that left 70% of her body burnt and scarred, now she is taking the potent lessons that she learned and is sharing her journey and wisdom. You will not regret the time it takes to listen or watch this episode of Delightfully Dysfunctional, you may need a tissue nearby, and your perspective in life will be forever changed for the better by watching this episode. Sending you light and love in whatever you are navigating Delightful Humans!

To My Delightful Humans,
Recently, I celebrated circling the sun for the 37th time—grateful for the journey, the lessons, the stumbles, the joy, and the beautiful souls who’ve walked beside me, including you.
In these years, I’ve come to hold close 7 truths that have shaped and softened me:
1. Accept your weirdness and find your weirdos – Life is too short to dim your light. The right people will be drawn to your authenticity like moths to flame.
2. Gratitude for the little things – A warm cup, a kind glance, the sun on your skin—these are the sacred moments that make a life.
3. Pay attention to your thoughts – What we repeat becomes what we believe. Choose curiosity over criticism.
4. Kindness matters – To self. To others. It softens the edges and creates space for healing.
5. Every heartbreak is a teacher – Some people come to awaken us, not to stay.
6. Boundaries are an act of self-love – They’re not walls, they’re doors with locks and keys.
7. Loving fully doesn’t mean losing yourself – Real love includes your voice, your needs, and your boundaries.
I know I haven’t been as active on here lately. Life, in all its wild and beautiful unpredictability, has required more of me—and when it does, my family will always come first. That’s a non-negotiable I trust you understand.
But it has never been a goodbye—it’s a reset. I’m building new systems and creative structures to bring more consistency and intention to this channel. Thank you for your patience, your presence, and your grace.
Sometimes the river of life takes unexpected turns, leading us closer to where our soul is meant to go. I trust those twists. And I’m so honored to be navigating the messy, magical, mysterious path of being human right alongside you.
Here’s to continuing the spiral—growing wiser (and weirder), and dancing into this next rotation with open arms, a curious heart, and reverence for this wild ride.
With love and deep gratitude,
Keilani 💜🌞🎉

I am beyond grateful for every single one of you who has listened, watched, commented, or shared this journey with James and I. Your support, encouragement, and connection have meant the world and continue to fuel this passion.
With that being said, I’m going to be taking a one-month break from both the podcast and YouTube, in fact we are already a week into that break so only 3 more weeks to go. This isn’t goodbye—this is me practicing what I preach: taking time for self-care, reflection, and recharging so I can come back even stronger, with fresh insights and new content that serves you better.
During this break, I encourage you to revisit past episodes or share your favorites with someone who might need them. This is still very much a passion project, meaning our time and investment is currently being fueled by passion, not money. Some simple ways that you can show your support to us are:

Two years ago today, we launched Delightfully Dysfunctional with a simple but profound idea: to create a space where real, raw, and sometimes messy conversations could unfold without judgment. A space where humor and heartache, wisdom and wonder, could sit at the same table. A space where we could be unapologetically human.
Today, as we celebrate our second birthday, I find myself reflecting on what this podcast has meant—not just to me, but to all of us. This show has been more than a platform; it has been a lifeline, a place of connection, and a constant reminder that even in life’s dysfunction, there is beauty, growth, and, most importantly, community.
One of the things I’m most grateful for is the culture we’ve cultivated together—a culture of curiosity and authenticity. From day one, we set out to ask the hard questions, explore the unknown, and dive into conversations that matter. Whether it’s been through laughter, deep reflection, or even the occasional uncomfortable truth, we’ve built a space where people can show up exactly as they are. That, to me, is the greatest gift of all.
To my incredible cohost, Keilani—you bring a magic to this show that is impossible to put into words. Your insight, vulnerability, and wisdom have made every conversation richer, every episode more meaningful. I’m beyond grateful to walk this path with you. You are a superhero because you save lives.
To our guests—you’ve shared your stories with courage and honesty, reminding us all that we are never alone in our struggles or triumphs. Your words have sparked conversations, challenged perspectives, and inspired countless listeners, including me.
And to the “Delightful Humans” our listeners and subscribers—you are the heart of Delightfully Dysfunctional. Your support, messages, and engagement have meant the world to us. Whether you've been here since episode one or just found us last week, you are part of this journey, and we are honored to have you with us.
Thank you for being part of this beautifully imperfect adventure.
Sincerely, James

Last week I got to present at the Women In Business conference and it felt so good to feel that in person energy! It was so fun to connect with so many people on a topic that affects all of us as delightful humans, our mental health! If you work in a leadership position and are interested in how to provide more support for your organization, I also provide trainings and public speaking engagements!
Here are some interesting facts about mental health when it comes to professional success:
- 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. experience mental illness each year. That's about 57.8 million people (National Alliance on Mental Illness, NAMI).
- Mental health issues cause the loss of 12 billion working days globally every year, resulting in $1 trillion in lost productivity (WHO).
- Burnout is recognized as a major issue, with 59% of workers reporting they are affected by stress and burnout in their jobs.
- 67% of people with mental health issues do not seek treatment because of stigma and fear of judgment (Mental Health America).
- 8 out of 10 employees reported that stigma prevents them from seeking care or talking openly about their mental health (American Psychiatric Association).
These are some of the topics that I love presenting on and can provide to your organization or group (online or in person) to help break the stigma of mental health, improve workplace culture, motivate, and inspire:
- The Role of Mental Health and Leadership
- Conflict Resolution and Effective Communication
- Work Life Balance and Boundaries
- Developing Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
- Breaking the Stigma of Mental Health
- QPR- Question, Persuade, Refer for Suicide Prevention
- Compassion Fatigue
