I wanted to make a small note that a few videos have had their recording dates corrected. Asides from that, I've been working hard scheduling many videos recently! I have a huge backlog of Santa Cruz Metro buses and rides on subways I've been slowly progressing through. I also realized that it has been almost a year since the UCSC Phantoms were retired, and I will get the final ride video out around June. A lot of things to go through, so I hope you guys will enjoy the exciting stuff coming soon!

Man, I can't believe it's now been two years since I had my last opportunity to ride my childhood trains. I rode these often during my pre-teen and teen years to Oakland to have lunch with my grandpa. These memories are still stuck in my head every time I go to Chinatown Oakland.

Hey guys! You guys may be seeing some changes in the descriptions for bus videos. This is because I'm trying to adapt a consistent format when it comes to buses being retired BEFORE vs AFTER its ride video being posted. I want to preserve the description as much as possible. For buses that are retired after the video is posted, a small update note will be added and rest of the description will be kept as is. Sorry for the inconveniences, as I try to address some inconsistencies!
Update: All videos have now had changes applied. Descriptions for these videos will not be modified any further.

BIG UPDATE! I will be migrating away from Google Websites to a new custom website!
My elevator/ transit enthusiast guide is now live, with tables being much easier to read than before!
Link here: vtp-transit-portfolio.vercel.app/
It is still a work in progress, so some information may be incorrect and elements may not load properly.
After the migration is complete, the Google Sites version will go offline, so please pardon the work.

Note: Transit-related uploads will resume starting next Wednesday. They'll still be occasional, but that gives a chance to amp up uploads of transit vehicles that are being retired very soon.

Due to the walkthrough of the San Francisco Centre Mall being quite dense and lengthy, my transit video will instead be postponed to next Monday. Sorry for the last minute changes!

Hey guys, two updates. I'm planning to reupload a few videos due to a few having been exported with an incorrect frame rate. While the differences may not noticeable, I want to make sure quality is at the top. Going forward most videos will be filmed in 60fps. However, if the lighting environment is dark, this causes a smooth flowing video to become distorted. In that case, the video will be in 30fps. Personally, I don't like it when the frame rate suddenly drops for whatever reason. Anyways, this will be my move going forward.
In addition, I have a brand new website come soon! Stay tuned for more details!

MAJOR CHANGE IN UPLOADING PATTERN (PLEASE READ)
Some major changes are coming to my uploading schedule. One major change I will need to address is how frequently I'll be uploading transit. As you might've known, I am no longer in the Santa Cruz territory since I've graduated from college. This sadly means no more riding Santa Cruz Metro & UCSC TAPS frequently and no more free bus rides within as a student. Santa Cruz is a literal bus heaven, having a huge variety of old buses, and I'm starting to miss it. I had the ability to ride them all day frequently, from early morning until late night all for $0 -- it was covered by my college tuition. Being in the Bay, it won't be quite the same. As I am now required to pay bus fares amidst the rise in transit fares, it would cost quite some money to fan transit, especially when going into San Francisco. In addition, I want to take transit fanning more slowly since I'll be spending more time in the Bay going forward, especially before all transit agencies go electric in 2040. This means I will be fanning transit a little less frequently. While buses in the Bay are not as diverse as ones in Santa Cruz Metro, I still want to enjoy what's here and keep documenting for you all! I also need to focus on securing a job as the state of the job market isn't ideal right now.
To adjust to these changes, *transit videos will be posted once a week (instead of twice a week as it's currently)*. I am doing this so I can keep transit videos running for you all!
Lastly, I am concluding Sacramento uploads, and soon I will start Boston elevator uploads! I have filmed close to 60 elevators there so stay tuned!
