Formerly Bang Average Fishing - Welcome to Japanese Fishing Adventures. I'm Harry, from Preston, England and moved to Japan in April 2024. It was meant to be a holiday, but I loved the fishing here that much I ended up living here! What a dream come true!
Join us on a journey around Japan, fishing some of Japan's most iconic fishing destinations, in addition to some of the hidden away gems I've discovered along the way. We don't take things too seriously here, its about having fun and discovering new fishing methods and different species. There is something for everyone!

Thought I would make a quick post as I have been very quiet on YouTube! Mainly because I’m living in -10 and heavy snow everyday! As such the fishing is somewhat difficult!
HAVE NO FEAR! We haven’t been hit by an earthquake the only rumble we will be making is in 2024 when the season starts again!! 😎

Well folks we got GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS! Firstly the bad news….All I want to say is apologies for the lack of content. I won’t lie, a few situations have come up which have really set me back with regards to the channel - but hey that is life what can we do?!
HOWEVER, here’s the good news! We are currently in the North of Japan working on a BRAND NEW SERIES! Following the success of the Florida Road Trip, I thought let’s take it to another level! 🇯🇵
I am hoping to fish all over the country along with exploring the history and culture of this great country! Who knows what could happen - but from being here for 2 days already I can tell it’s going to be MEGA!
