🫡🫡🫡 Thank you to everyone for such a great early performance on a video! 🫡🫡🫡

We just cleared the first 24 hours of this upload, and thanks to many of you, this is already one of the best performing videos when compared on the first 24 hours of analytics data.

I have really enjoyed reading your comments so far, and these comments really do help grow the channel which is very much appreciated.

Most importantly, I'm also happy to hear so many of you enjoyed the video, that's why I make these, so feedback is always welcome.

Polish Video 🇵🇱 is officially scheduled to upload tomorrow after work! (5pm GMT)

I want to thank everyone who is still sticking with this channel, and supporting this content whether on here or on Instagram.

I know my upload frequency hasn't been the best, but I have some tricks up my sleeve to improve this drastically with the next video. Hopefully this will be one of my last "long haul" edits for that reason.

Best way to support this work is by leaving a comment and sharing with others, it really helps! Please like the video as well if you enjoyed it. All feedback appreciated.

I'm looking forward to revamping this channel for a very productive 2026,
all thanks to those of you still reading this posts!! 🫡

Merry Christmas to all of my Subscribers, who celebrate it on the 25th of December!
☦️🎄🎁🎅✝️

Of course many of you also celebrate Christmas in January marked on the Orthodox calendar. I will wish those of you Merry Christmas again very soon!

Its been a great year, although I'll admit I didn't get as much out on Youtube this year as I wanted, but like an Iceberg, a lot of skills and development in making better content have happened behind the scenes.

We learn from our mistakes and grow for a better future.

When this year started, I didn't even have 1,000 Subscribers, and now we have a monetised Youtube Channel and I am so grateful for all 3,500+ of you.

We also have grown a very popular and very active Instagram account to 17,000 Followers! If you haven't followed me on there, make sure to do so!

A lot of activity over there.

The Communist Remnants in Poland video is almost done and is coming out very soon before the end of the year!

Big plans for the channel in 2026, and its all thanks to you, so thank you again and have a Merry Christmas!!

🚨 Next Video Sneak Peak - Polish People's Republic 🇵🇱

We are back in action with content no one else is making.

We went to Gdańsk, Poland, a city rebuilt by the Communist Polish government from the ashes of a nearly completely destroyed and formerly German city of Danzig, to become the home of the Lenin Shipyard, which would ironically become a flashpoint for the Solidarity movement that would destroy communism in Poland.

Not much is left from Communist Poland, after the government's extensive effort to "De-Communise" the country, or is it? I think you'll be surprised..

That's what we will be exploring in this next video.

Editing is in progress, I am in talks with licensing rare footage from this time from the rights holder.

In the meantime, my Instagram has exploded to 14,000 Followers where we are building a vibrant community, if you haven't followed me on there yet, @borsch.bandit. I cross post all of the reels to Youtube Shorts for those of you not on IG.

Youtube is still the main project though, we are back on the road in 2026 with a packed travel schedule, and this will be the era of an even better season of content, we'll talk about that soon!

Thank you once again for your continued feedback and support! 🫡

🫨 Why Do I Believe Youtube Autodubbing Hurt My Channel? 🫨

You might’ve noticed my recent documentary hasn’t even hit 1,000 views—despite great feedback, strong watch time, and even some generous Super Chats.

So what happened?

In May, YouTube quietly launched an autodubbing feature, automatically translating videos into other languages. When I uploaded my documentary in September, it was affected. Sounds great in theory—but it completely tanked my Clickthrough Rate (CTR).

How? It broke the recommendation system. YouTube started pushing my Soviet and WW2 history video to totally unrelated audiences—people watching random films like BINDU - FULL MOVIE—instead of relevant viewers. CTR dropped to 1%, killing the video’s momentum.

After disabling autodubbing and improving the thumbnail, CTR rose to 2.1%, but impressions have stalled. It’ll take time for this one to recover, just like my East Berlin and House of Soviets videos eventually did.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who watched, liked, commented, and donated. Your support means everything. This isn’t a loss—it’s just a setback. I’ll keep creating, learning, and moving forward.

The next video’s already in the works, and my 2026 travel schedule is packed. We’re not going anywhere!

🚨🚩 The Kaliningrad Documentary is Released!!

After 4 months of extensive research, planning, editing, and of course my trips to Kaliningrad, the documentary is finally out now on my channel. Its 33 minutes long, please only click it when you're ready to watch it all the way through.

"Why This German City Doesn't Exist Anymore"

Why am I happy that I gave up most of my free time outside of my day job to produce this? Because this lesson has never been more important to learn.

The lesson is clear: Reject Nazism in our Western Countries or We Will Be Destroyed

We are eternally grateful to the heroes of the Soviet Red Army for their enormous sacrifice in destroying Nazi Germany 80 years ago. I take this gratitude extremely seriously, and I've dedicated this documentary to their memory.

They gave everything to give us a world free from Nazism, so we can not allow Nazism to ever grow again!!

This is released on the 80th Anniversary of China's own heroic struggle against Japanese imperialism, to whom we also owe enormous gratitude.

All likes, and comments help greatly and are massively supported. Please share this with your friends and comrades to spread this message of anti-Fascism.

Спасибо большое!! 🫡

PS: I can't spend 4 months on every Youtube Video of course, expect more less intensive but still quality content on a more frequent basis. But I believe this project deserved every second of work put into it.

🚨 The Kaliningrad Documentary is Finally Coming Out This Week!!

After 4 months of hard work, on top of my day job, I have finally completed this project, which I feel fully comfortable at this point calling a documentary, due to the amount of research, editing, and storytelling contained within this video.

As you remember back in May I travelled back to Kaliningrad, Russia 🇷🇺 for the 80th Anniversary of the Soviet Victory Day. You will see these videos for the first time, but you will also learn a concise, but thorough history on how this former German city became the proud Russian city of Kaliningrad.

I consider this easily my most important video I've ever created. Get ready, its coming out this week (Wednesday), which will align with 🇨🇳 China's 80th Anniversary Victory Day parade over imperial japan.

I promise this video will be worth the wait. Thank you for your patience, tremendous support and helpful feedback. You have played your own role in helping me get to the level I can create a video on this level.

☀️ I'm taking the next 2 weeks off work at my day job, why?

I work a full time 9-5 job. Most of us do right? I'm not a full time Youtuber.. YET 😂

I'm taking the next 2 weeks off of work. Where am I going this time? Most have asked me,

I'm going to my editing chair!! 😂 I'm staying right here in Belfast to edit Youtube videos.

My long form videos take a lot of time editing, thats my biggest bottleneck, but from feedback I received, I think quality over quantity has been worth it.

Thank you for that feedback, its always been incredible on here and keeps this hard work worth it.

I am improving my workflow though to keep quality while being more efficient. First I need to get caught up though.

I have 3 videos on the way, and I hope to complete at least the next two in these two weeks.

1. Retracing Battle of Königsberg 80 Years Later for Victory Day 🇷🇺
2. Searching Gdansk, Poland for remnants of the Communist Past 🇵🇱
3. Socialist Mosaic Journey Across former Czechoslovakia 🇨🇿

In the meantime, the Youtube shorts are out to keep the lights on here.
I reactivated Instagram to post those shorts to reels, and they went viral over there. Over 300,000 views in two weeks! Wow!

Its clear to me that we're building something very important here. The journey continues!

Thank you for your continued support!! 🙏
