Hello, I'm Jordan I plan on making long, entertaining video essays about your favourite video games. Analysing them with detail and humour and telling you why I love them (or maybe not).
Long time no speak. Well, my latest video game retrospective has officially gone gold and will be released publicly in the next few days. Please keep an eye out for a 4 and a half hour video looking at James Bond - 007 video games!
1 year and 1 day ago, I published my Star Wars game retrospective. Almost 100,000 views later, it's still the last major video I made public on the channel. I have been VERY busy with my other channel: @PhysicalParadise I also abandoned my Alien games retrospective half way through since I wasn't particularly enjoying it. But now, part 1 of my new retrospective (which I will finish because I'm enjoying it immensely) is now live on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/part-1-007-video-135133185
I wanna give a shout out to Vix in Japan, really good quality retro gaming history retrospectives that needs waaay more views. I just got myself a PC Engine so it was interesting to catch up on how it came about.
Well, the Dreamcast video may have been the most disliked video on the channel so far, but I'm persevering! The A - Z of the Sega Saturn is now up on Patreon with a nice Christmas Day public release which you can watch after you've finished with all the socialising: www.patreon.com/posts/z-of-sega-saturn-118519856 Merry Christmas 🎄
Hello! Long time no speak. I'm still slowly working on my Alien retrospective. But I'm also working on other things too. In a few days I'll have the start of a new video series. A-Z of essential games on each system. Picking 1 game per letter, starting with the Dreamcast. Look out for it on YT later this week. It's currently available for my Patreon supporters if you want to watch it early: www.patreon.com/posts/z-of-essential-117735587
After a nice break from the giant Star Wars retrospective, I'm pleased to announce Part 1 of my Alien video is now live for Patreon supporters: www.patreon.com/posts/alien-video-game-113966116 A short, digestible 30 minute episode which includes: Alien (Atari 2600) Alien (C64) Aliens: The Computer Game (C64) US. Version Aliens: The Computer Game (C64) EU. Version Aliens: Alien 2 (MSX) Aliens (Arcade)
This will be available publicly once all parts are done. I don't know how many there will be for this retrospective, I'm just going with the flow this time.
The next part will look into the overwhelming Alien 3 games and the early parts of when that dude from the jungle decides to join in with the xenomorph action.
March 6th 2025 you'll be able to play 2 of the greatest JRPGs ever made on modern consoles. And hopefully you can catch up with the series so you can watch both my retrospectives on each game after you've played these masterpieces.
AND... in honor of that release date. I PROMISE (after dozens and dozens of requests) I will make sure to do a retrospective video on Suikoden 3 in celebration of this double pack. I've been hesitant to do it because:
1) it's the only one in the series I haven't played (no experience) 2) It's long as hell 3) it's the most complicated game in the series in terms of the flow and systems. And I'm scared I won't do it justice.
But thanks to the miracle of Suikoden I & II HD, I'm gonna do it!
My patreon bonus video is live: www.patreon.com/posts/bonus-video-how-110071863 I really struggled for a topic for this one due to the magnitude of the main Star Wars video. Every idea of a game review seemed very insignificant or too throwaway for this particular one. So I decided to give some insight into how much I earned on Youtube via ads.
Original: Saturday 11am EST. IT'S. HAPPENING. The Star Wars Video Game retrospective will be fully public for EVERYONE. 11 hours. 59minutes. 38seconds. It's the biggest gaming Youtube video of 2024. I hope you can casually make your way through it over the weeks and months; be entertained, learn about gaming history and have a laugh along the way. It's taken 6 months to make this, I thank you kindly for your patience and I hope you enjoy this 'little' video adventure. 🙏
Thank you so much! Especially thank you for you patience. Despite not having a video out in about a month, the channel is growing nicely. And I PROMISE the wait for the next retrospective will be worth it. It's probably hard to understand the wait, but once it drops this month - you will understand why it's taken half a year to make! ✌️
