Adventure isn’t just about where you go—it’s about how you embrace the journey, the people you meet, and the stories you tell. Travel boldly, laugh often, and leave the world a little better than you found it.
Who am I?! My name is Adam and for the past 25 years, I have been traveling the world in search of unique experiences that fuel my fire for life. This journey has taken me to over 70 countries, and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon. I decided to start this channel for fun during my trip to Oaxaca in 2020 but then quickly realized how much I enjoyed creating and sharing my travels and experiences with you. So in March 2021, I went home, sold/packed up my belongings, and bought a one-way ticket back to Mexico. Through this channel, I hope to inspire you, even just a little, to get out of your comfort zone, do those things you've been putting off, confront your fears, and live more! Together, WE ARE THE COUNTRY COLLECTORS!
Let's experience the world together!

Hey Country Collectors,
🚨 NEW VIDEO ALERT — and this is one I never thought I’d be making again.
In my last video, I shared a personal experience from Cambodia about being attacked at Angkor Wat and the disturbing aftermath.
What I didn’t expect was what happened after I spoke out.
Since then, there’s been overwhelming support, intense anger, misinformation, and official actions taken to restrict and ban the video. My credibility has been questioned, articles have been written that don’t reflect my lived experience, and there have been attempts to discredit the truth rather than address what actually happened.
So today’s video is not about drama.
It’s about slowing everything down.
I address the questions people are asking, the backlash, the ban, the false narratives, and — most importantly — what this story was always meant to be about.
This is not an attack on Cambodian people.
It’s about accountability, safety, and doing the right thing — no matter where something happens.
Thank you to everyone who has listened with an open mind and supported honesty over noise.

Country Collectors,

The Country Collectors
The Cambodian government has taken official steps to silence this story.
I never expected this to go this far.
After sharing my personal experience of being attacked at Angkor Wat, the APSARA National Authority issued an official statement about my video—including documents asking the public to stop sharing it.
Let that sink in for a moment.
I would say that was shocking but after what happened to us it’s nothing less than I would expect. Instead of addressing the lack of security at the site, or the way the police handled the situation afterward, the focus shifted to reframing the incident, minimizing what happened, and discouraging discussion altogether.
These documents describe the incident as a “private dispute,” claim it was resolved the same day, and suggest that authorities handled everything appropriately. That does not reflect our lived experience at all.
What’s most disturbing to me isn’t criticism—it’s the idea that an individual sharing a real, documented experience can be met not with accountability or transparency, but with official pressure to stay quiet.
I’ve been very clear from the beginning:
•This was not an attack on Cambodian people.
•I met many kind, respectful locals.
•This is about one incident, a failure of security, and a deeply troubling response afterward.
Telling the truth about something uncomfortable is not disrespect.
Silencing it is.
These are the documents that were issued. I’m sharing them so people can see for themselves and decide what they think.
To the people attacking me—both foreign and domestic—this is the part you’re missing:
the message of this video was about you.
It was about how quickly people turn away.
How easily empathy disappears.
How often the instinct is to defend systems instead of people.
And how much easier it is to turn a blind eye when things are bad or going wrong then standing up for what right.
The real question I asked in that video wasn’t “Who was right?”
It was: Where have all the good people gone?
I stand by my experience. I stand by telling it honestly.
I stand by the people who had the courage to reach out honestly.
And I stand by telling the truth—even when it makes powerful people uncomfortable enough to want to silence it.
My heart goes out to the good Cambodian people who live in fear of situations like this—fear created not by everyday citizens, but by systemic government failure and a lack of accountability. And even the people attacking me—the angry voices in the comments—deserve better than living under a system that teaches silence, intimidation, and indifference instead of protection and justice.

I just dropped my newest video. Last year I was violently attacked at Angkor Wat in Cambodia —and what happened afterward was even more disturbing.
Check out the video here and please leave a comment on the video to let me know what you think.

Hey Country Collectors,
This upcoming video is one I’ve been holding onto for a long time.
Last year in Cambodia, I went through the hardest travel experience of my life. It wasn’t something I was ready to share back then—but now I finally am.
This story is raw, honest, and very personal. Not for shock—just truth. Travel isn’t always highlights and sunsets, and this experience changed me in ways I never expected—and am even grateful for.
Thank you for always being here for the full journey—even the hard parts.

Happy New Year, my friends 🎉✨
Stepping into this new year feeling grateful more than anything. Grateful for the people who showed up, the places that surprised me, the lessons I didn’t ask for but clearly needed, and this community that continues to make this whole journey feel shared instead of solo.
This past year had its ups, its curveballs, and plenty of moments that reminded me how important it is to slow down, stay curious, and appreciate the simple stuff—good conversations, new cultures, bad jokes, and being exactly where you’re meant to be, even when it doesn’t make sense at first.
Here’s to more adventures, deeper connections, getting a little uncomfortable in the best ways, and continuing to explore this wild, beautiful world together.
Wishing you health, joy, and a year full of stories worth telling.
Let’s see where this next chapter takes us 🌍💛

The holidays always have a funny way of sneaking up on us. One minute it’s just another day, and the next it’s laughter, late nights, good friends, and that familiar feeling that we’re about to be feasting so much we might actually make ourselves sick (or maybe thats just a me thing 😅)
I’ve been soaking up moments like this lately—good company, easy smiles, and not taking any of it for granted. As the big day gets closer, it’s a good reminder that the best parts of this season usually aren’t the presents… they’re the people and the memories we’re making along the way.
I’m curious—what have you been getting up to as the holidays approach? Traveling, staying close to home, spending time with family or friends, or just taking a breather?
Share your ugly sweater photos, favorite holiday foods, family moments, or whatever kind of festive fun you’ve been getting up to lately.
Let’s see it, Country Collectors 🎄✨

Another year around the sun 🌍🎂
And honestly… this one filled my cup.
From morning coffee and big smiles, to salty air and boards on the sand. From standing on cliff edges at sunset, to tables covered in food, stories, and laughs that stretched long into the night. Beaches, BBQ, cold beers, and the boys. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate.
No big plans. No wild expectations. Just the right people showing up at exactly the right moment. I spend a lot of time alone on the road, but being surrounded by brothers on this day reminded me how lucky I truly am.
Birthdays aren’t about the number anymore. They’re about presence. About shared meals, shared laughter, and those simple moments that somehow become the ones you carry with you forever.
Feeling deeply grateful for this crew, this chapter, and another year of stories waiting to be lived.
Life’s been teaching me a lot lately—and somewhere between the ocean views, late nights, and full hearts, I was reminded how good life really is.
Thank you to everyone who reached out and shared the love. It truly means more than you know 🤍

🎉 5 YEARS ON YOUTUBE! 🎉
Hey Country Collectors,
I can’t believe it’s been five whole years since I hit upload on that very first video. Back then, I had no idea where this journey would take me — I just knew I loved exploring, learning, and sharing this wild, beautiful world with anyone who wanted to come along.
Five years later… here we are.
Different countries, different adventures, countless memories — but the same heart behind it all. And the best part? You’ve been right there with me for every step, every misstep, every waterfall pun, every long travel day, every magical moment — and for sticking with me through the hard times too.
Thank you for cheering me on, for laughing with me, for supporting this dream, and for being the kind of community that makes the world feel a little kinder. You’ve helped me grow not just as a creator, but as a person.
Here’s to the next 5 years of exploring, trying new things, meeting incredible people, and seeing where this adventure takes us next.
And as always… let’s keep collecting those countries — and those memories — together. ❤️🌍
