She faked an entire pregnancy.

She gained weight, altered medical records, produced fake ultrasounds and celebrated at a baby shower for a child she knew she was not carrying.
But the lie had a due date.

On June 17, 2009, Eleonor Alejandra Marín Mendoza entered the maternity ward of the hospital where she worked. Hours later, she walked out carrying a newborn inside a department-store bag.

Her pregnancy losses were not her fault. The kidnapping was.

My newest episode of GBRLIFE of Crimes examines the psychology between those two truths, the innocent husband who spent more than two years in prison and Mayra Navarro, the mother whose suffering is too often pushed to the edge of Ale’s story.

Eleonor Alejandra Marín Mendoza: The Stolen Newborn is available now on GBRLIFE Transmissions.

Would you have believed Ale’s pregnancy was real?

I tested Routine.co to see if it could actually bring planning, tasks, projects, journaling, calendars, and AI together without becoming another project to manage. 👀

The free plan gives you a surprising amount, but some of the smartest features still require more setup than I expected.

So, is Routine.co the productivity system you’ve been looking for, or is it trying to do too much?

Watch my full review now on GBRLIFE and YouTube to see what I liked, what frustrated me, and why I gave Routine.co a 3.5 out of 5.

Have you tried Routine.co? Let me know what you think!

Eleven years after Dan Markel was murdered, Donna Adelson was still writing.

Sitting in jail and awaiting trial, prosecutors say Donna wrote a question-and-answer script telling another inmate exactly what to say on the witness stand. A forensic handwriting expert identified the pages as Donna’s work with the highest level of certainty her field allows.

Her defense attorney asked that expert nothing.

Not one question.

In my latest episode, I’m examining the murder of Dan Markel, the Adelson family system, and why that handwritten script may reveal more about Donna’s methods than almost any other evidence in the case.

“Donna Adelson: The Family Fixer” is available now on GBRLIFE and YouTube.

The companion post, “She Was Still Writing,” is also available on GBRLIFE.com.

A tire deliberately placed in the road.

Messages about a “magician,” permanent disappearing acts and funeral potatoes.

Checks written from Shanna Gardner’s trust to the man prosecutors say pulled the trigger.

But there is not one text message or phone call directly connecting Shanna to him. And the alleged gunman, who originally confessed and agreed to testify, has now taken it all back.

So what does the evidence actually prove?

In the newest episode of GBRLIFE of Crimes, I examine both possible versions of the Shanna Gardner case and the one connection prosecutors will have to make at trial: the words to the money, the money to the man and the man to the tire.

The full episode is available now on GBRLIFE and YouTube.

How much of your day is spent remembering things for everyone else?

School emails. Doctor appointments. Permission slips. Groceries. House color shirts. Meet the Teacher night.

Sometimes it feels like being the family's second brain.

This week's GBRLIFE Review looks at whether AI can actually help reduce that mental load, or if it's just another app asking for your attention.

What's one thing you wish someone (or something!) would remember for you?

The new episode is out, and I already know this one is going to divide people.

Lindsay Clancy caused the deaths of her three children. That part is not disputed.

What is disputed is whether she was criminally responsible when it happened.

The prosecution has real evidence of planning. But there is also a mountain of evidence showing a woman who was severely ill, repeatedly asked for help, received 13 psychiatric medications, admitted herself into a hospital, and was still labeled with anxiety.

In this episode, I break down both sides, the “lucidity trap,” and why a mother can appear completely coherent while still experiencing psychosis.

I also discuss something people often misunderstand: harm-related delusions are not always rooted in hatred or detachment. Sometimes psychosis distorts a mother’s protective attachment until she genuinely believes she is saving the children she loves.

Season 3, Episode 27 of GBRLIFE Of Crimes is out now.

Do you believe planning and psychosis can exist at the same time?

ChatGPT Codex can work with your files, apps, plugins—and even your computer. Convenient? Absolutely. A little invasive? Also yes. 👀

In my latest review, I tested what Codex can actually do, compared the desktop and web experiences, looked at the pricing, and discussed the privacy concerns that cost it an entire point.

My final rating: ⭐ 4 out of 5

Would you give an AI assistant access to your computer if it made your daily work easier?

What if AI could keep working after you closed your laptop?

I tested Claude Cowork to see whether it could actually take work off my plate as a creator and small business owner. I gave it a real marketing task, connected it with Canva, and watched it build a full campaign with very little input from me.

It was impressive, but it also came with some serious tradeoffs, including privacy concerns, fast usage limits, and the fact that there is no free Cowork tier.

My final rating: 4 out of 5

Would you trust an AI assistant with access to your files and business tools if it meant getting hours of your time back?

Automation tools are everywhere right now, but not all of them are actually worth adding to your already crowded list of tabs. 😅

This week on GBRLIFE Reviews, I tested Relay.app — a workflow automation tool that connects your apps, content, and AI into one place.

I built a real workflow, tested how easy it was to use, looked at the pricing, and asked the big question:

Is Relay.app actually useful… or just another tab you’ll forget to open?

My final rating: 3/5 ⭐⭐⭐☆☆

It has a lot of potential, especially if you’re a content creator, podcaster, or someone trying to understand workflows before jumping into AI agents — but the pricing definitely gave me pause.

New review is out now. Go watch the full breakdown. 👀

Question: Are you using any automation tools right now, or are you still doing everything manually?
