random thought but just because they look mexican or speak spanish does NOT mean someone is mexican.. like not all hispanics are mexican like whatt!
me, people i know, and people in general always get called mexican if they speak spanish or look like it. Im chapina and salvadoreña (not from there but my blood) and i get called mexican all the time like what im literally hispanic. hispanic includes people from puerto rico, cuba, honduras, colombia, and more! this is also the same for latin people, and just all races in general too! ik sometimes ppl cant help it but it gets to the point where ppl tryna say i dont know my own race? they be like “no, ur mexican..” like what boi!!
sorry for that long rant but yuh just bc someone speak spanish dont mean they mexican 👍
