But his weirdest, and greatest, act was off-screen: becoming the ultimate Hollywood insider and then spending decades building a powerful escape hatch in the mountains of Utah. The Sundance Institute is his true legacy – a beautiful, stubborn middle finger to the very system that made him.

A titan, a genuine icon, and the reason a generation learned that squinting can be a superpower. Pour one out.

GIVE ME KNOWLEDGE!

I've long been fascinated by the Rat Pack, especially the 1988 'Together Again' Tour. But there doesn't seem to be a lot of information out there regarding peoples personal experiences of having attended one of the shows.

If you went to any of the shows, heard any stories about the tour, met Frank, Sammy or Dean or watched them live solo please comment as I'd genuinely love to hear your experiences - or even stories about the men I may not have heard.

Obviously documentaries can give a rose tinted perspective but I wasn't around back then - but at the time living in the 80s, hearing them teaming up again, was it exciting or were they seen as outdated?

Give as much detail as you want, if you think to yourself 'this is a boring amount of detail I'm giving'. It won't be.
