UNIFORM AT PARAPHERNALIA NG MGA PRIVATE SECURITY PROFESSIONAL

1. Sanggunian: Seksyon 202, Rule 48 ng Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), Republic Act No. 11917.

2. Ang memorandum na ito ay nagsisilbing paalala at direktiba sa lahat ng Private Security Training Agencies (PSTAs) Private Security Service Provider (PSSPs) at Private Security Professionals (PSPs) na ipatupad ang wastong pagsusuot ng mga iniresetang uniporme at paraphernalia ng mga pribadong propesyonal sa seguridad. Dapat tiyakin ng lahat ng Private Security Agencies (PSA) na ang kanilang mga security personnel ay maayos na nakadamit alinsunod sa mga umiiral na regulasyon at pamantayan sa lahat ng oras habang nasa tungkulin.

3. Gaya ng itinakda sa Seksyon 202, Rule 48 ng IRR ng Republic Act No. 11917, ang uniporme ay mahalaga upang makilala ang isang pribadong propesyonal sa seguridad mula sa mga normal na empleyado. Bukod pa rito, ang uniporme ay sumisimbolo sa awtoridad na likas sa propesyon ng seguridad. Kaya naman, ipinag-uutos na ang isang PSP ay magsuot ng uniporme habang nasa pagganap ng mga tungkulin. Alinsunod sa karagdagang mga alituntunin at mga detalye na itinakda ng SUEB at inaprubahan ng Hepe, SOSIA, ang karaniwang uniporme para sa mga PSP ay dapat na nakadepende sa kategorya ng propesyon na kanilang ginagawa.

4. Kinakailangan na ang lahat ng mga tauhan ng seguridad ay mahigpit na sumunod sa mga awtorisadong pare-parehong pamantayan. Inutusan ang mga ahensya ng pagsasanay na isama ang regulasyong ito sa kanilang kurikulum upang mapahusay ang kamalayan at isulong ang disiplina at propesyonalismo sa mga security trainees na nakapaloob sa SOSIA Private Security Personnel Uniform and Equipment Board Resolution No. 2017-001 (Rationalization of the Standard Types and Specifications of Uniforms for Posted Private Security Personnel).

5. Ang lahat ng PSTAS, PSSP at PSP ay kinakailangang sumunod sa direktiba na ito at tiyakin na ang mga lektura at praktikal na pagsasanay ay nagpapatibay ng wastong unipormeng etiketa at paggamit.
