Sometimes the humbleness of a person surprises us. Meet Dadi who lives in a Shiv Temple and the bank of river Bhagirathi. This temple is located at the bottom of Mukhba Village Valley. In winters her family moved to Uttarkashi and she stays back to serve Lord Shiva. Twice a day she goes and fetch Ganga Jal from the river for “shivling abhishek”. I offered to help her that evening but she politely refused. We had a long conversation about many things. Her every word had gratitude towards life and god. What an experience!! It’s been almost a year and I never knew this picture existed. I am glad I found it. #harsil #harsilvalley #gangotri #mukhba #uttarakhand #uttarkashi
