I'm Mike Scalere — I study Cinema Studies at NYU, spent 20+ years working in network television at HBO and History Channel, and now run my own production company.

I started Scalerious because I believe film is about community, and I wanted a place to have real conversations about movies — the craft, the story, the culture, and what it all means.

This isn't just reviews. It's a filmmaker's perspective on cinema, built around the idea that the best part of watching a great movie is talking about it with other people who care.

New videos weekly. Come for the films, stay for the conversation.
