Maintaining consistency is the biggest challenge when it comes to art. Whenever I hit a slump, I try to stick to these three principles. I hope they help you too!
1.Adopt the 5-Minute Rule: Start with the mindset of "I'll only do 5 minutes today." You'll often experience the magic where those 5 minutes turn into an hour.
2.Increase Tool Accessibility: Always keep your working tools laid out or easily reachable. It's crucial to reduce the hassle of preparation.
3.Document Progress Over Results: Instead of focusing on the finished piece, record even just 5 minutes of today's drawing and give yourself credit. Practicing letting go of perfectionism is necessary.
