Welcome! I explore cultural, spiritual, and political subjects that are important to me as an old soul from the Midwest USA, a wife and mom, a fiction writer, a casual philosopher, and a believer in making the world a more tolerant and beautiful place.
Sometimes I use the cards, other times I just talk to the trees, the stones, or the sky. I'm glad you're here. I hope you find it both a thought-provoking and a supportive space!

Don’t respond in haste or anxiety or fear. That’s getting ahead of Spirit.
Don’t delay, doubt, or procrastinate. That’s falling behind Spirit.
Instead, walk with Spirit, hour by hour, day by day, year by year -
and you will live the life you’re supposed to live.
Easy? No. Satisfying? Yes, especially in time.

Regarding the political and social unrest in the USA in 2025 - If you’re wondering how to get involved or make a difference:
One thing my guides showed me early this year is that there are those who don't work directly with Spirit who are doing the work of protesting and debating and leading podcasts and writing letters to their representatives, etc. I'll call them the "Head people," because their work is mental and verbal. And then there are the "Heart people," who can do what the journalists and pundits and protestors and politicians can't and won't do: share emotional and spiritual support and provide avenues for healing.
The point I felt my guides were making was for us Heart people to not feel we must expend our energy doing the same things that the Head people are doing. We need to do what we are uniquely designed for in this struggle that no one else is doing: listen to our hearts, our guides, and the Spirit of wisdom, and then share loving, healing words and actions from that space.
Of course, this is generalized and does not mean verbal people have no heart or aren't Lightworkers in their own way by spreading truth and exposing corruption, etc. It doesn't mean you should avoid "Head" actions if you feel truly called to them. But the takeaway for me was that spiritual and emotional work is important too. We shouldn't put it aside just because we hear the call for protesting, etc. Each of us can decide where our work does the most good.
