Red or Green?

The Lenten season is celebrated by many New Mexicans, including me and my family. I love preparing traditional Lenten New Mexican meals that I learned from my parents, whom learned it from theirs, and so on for many generations.

I've compiled my favorite authentic NM Lenten recipes, such as Torta de Huevo and Salmon Patties, as well as new non-meat recipes I've created with New Mexican flavors.

I’ve shared these recipes in the hope that they may inspire you and your family this Lenten season, and that you enjoy this wonderful time of tradition and faith.

Happy Thanksgiving Chile-Heads! As you all prepare to give thanks and celebrate with family and friends next week, you should definitely take a peek at our Holiday Favorites playlist. 🦃
