To my friends —
I’m going to say this straight because I care about you.

Go get your heart checked.
Go get your colonoscopy.

I go to my cardiologist. I had my colonoscopy. Thankfully, I was clear. And let me tell you — that peace of mind is worth everything.

We’re at the age where “I feel fine” isn’t a medical plan. Heart issues don’t always come with warning sirens. Colon cancer doesn’t always send obvious signals. A lot of the most serious health problems grow quietly. That’s why screenings matter.

This isn’t about fear. It’s about responsibility.
We’ve got families. We’ve got people who depend on us. We’ve got plans, goals, and years we still want to live strong. Being proactive isn’t weakness — it’s wisdom. It’s leadership. It’s strength.

Don’t put it off because it’s uncomfortable. Don’t delay it because you’re busy. Don’t ignore it because you’d rather not think about it.

Make the appointment. Show up. Get it done.
I’m grateful I did. I’m grateful I got good news. And I want that same peace of mind for every one of you.

Real friends push each other to be better — not just financially or professionally — but physically and spiritually too. I want you around for a long time.

So please — take care of your heart. Take care of your health.

Get it done.

Would you be interested in seeing this character, Fitz the Goblin, available as apparel? Fitz is a character I developed for the Carolina Renaissance Festival, and he is quite popular with families. I believe it would be enjoyable to feature him in apparel fashion.

Being brave doesn’t mean you never fail. It means you’re willing to step forward even when failure is a real possibility. Too many people stop at the fear of falling, never realizing that failure isn’t the end of the story—it’s part of the shaping.

Every setback teaches you something. Every hard season strengthens parts of you that comfort never could. The struggle refines your character, deepens your empathy, and builds a resilience you can’t gain any other way. You don’t come out of failure weaker if you’re willing to learn—you come out wiser, humbler, and stronger.

There will be days when the weight feels heavy, when progress is slow, and when quitting seems easier than continuing. Those are the moments that define you. God never promised an easy path, but He did promise to walk with you through the valleys. Even when you can’t see it, He’s working in the struggle, using the pain to prepare you for what’s ahead.

In the end, when you look back, you’ll realize the fight was worth it. Not because it was easy—but because it changed you. Faith carried you, perseverance shaped you, and God’s guidance saw you through. And you’ll stand stronger, knowing you didn’t give up when it mattered most.

Love y'all ❤️

My dad had a small but meaningful place in Elvis Presley history. Back in 1955, Colonel Tom Parker reached out to him, just as Elvis was on the brink of something big. When Elvis came through Fort Myers in 1956, he spent a few days visiting my dad’s radio show, sharing time behind the microphone before the world truly exploded around him. Colonel Tom remembered my dad from his earlier days as a DJ in Nashville at WSM-AM 650, the legendary home of the Grand Ole Opry. To his listeners, my dad was simply known as Uncle Brad—a familiar voice in a simpler time. The photo is of my mom with Scotty Moore. They stayed friends for many years.
