Welcome to Safarijoe’s adventures. SAFARIJOE was a nickname given to me by my friends in junior high as I’ve always been an avid outdoorsman from a very early age. ADVENTURES because I like to make everything I do an adventure. I have some building and mechanical skills that I’m pretty good at. But I enjoy doing things that’s outside my skill level like various types of DIY‘s. My motto is make your life an adventure. You’re never too old to learn something new so don’t be afraid to try it.

This is the beginning of my cabin build. I started this in the spring of 2024. That’s when I decided that I would build a new cabin instead of rebuild the existing one on the property. The old cabin is dry and I am using it for material storage as I build the new cabin. Once the new cabin is finished, I will be disassembling the old cabin and using the materials for a couple projects on the property one of them will be a woodshed.
