Just wanted to drop in with a quick update: I've got several exciting projects in the works that I can't wait to share with you. One of my earliest childhood memories is sitting down with my dad to play Nintendo's first Super Mario game. That memory sparked something in me, and years later I still haven't seen the full potential of that world on the big screen.
Those closest to me know of my quiet obsession with knitting tales. For years I've been learning to give voice to the stories in my head. Now that childhood spark has ignited a new vision for a classic.
Forget the perfect fairy tale. At its core, this is a story about family. The tangled threads and the unspoken truths that hold us together even when life throws us the biggest curveballs. And all in a seemingly fantastical world. I've intentionally left a bit of mystery open to interpretation, but I won't spoil any more.

Holy smokes, we did it, everyone! 1000 subscribers. I seriously can’t believe it. When I started this channel a year ago, I just wanted a place to share the stuff I love making. For most of my life, I kept my art kind of private because, honestly, I was worried about what people would think. Not anymore. Something clicked with me this past year. The more I feel the weight of life, the more I want to leave something behind for the world. I decided to let go of those fears of rejection and judgment and focus on creating - like releasing butterflies into the wild. Some might fly unnoticed, some might get smashed by distressed people, but others might land where they’re meant to. And the fact that so many of you are here, catching and appreciating those butterflies, means the world to me.

And here we are. A thousand of you. It’s f*cking wild! Thank you! I’ve been thinking about doing a face reveal but, no promises that I won’t scare you off, though! You can thank my camera shyness later. 😅 Seriously though, I want this space to feel welcoming, like everyone can be part of it. Your ideas and suggestions matter, because you all are what make this feel like a community, not just a channel.

I’m still new to all of this, so I apologize if I can’t reply to everyone. I’m juggling a thousand things, plus a day job, so it’s a bit chaotic. Most of what I do for this channel comes at the expense of my social life and sleep schedule, but hey, hopefully it’s worth it.
