⛰️ Late spring, I flew into Madrid, drove west, and found myself standing at the edge of Parque Nacional de Monfragüe—a place usually known for its dry hills and vultures. But two weeks of rain had changed everything.

📍 What’s normally an arid trail had transformed into something wild, green, and unpredictable. I had planned a scenic 21KM hike to ease into my journey as a beginner… but things didn’t quite go to plan.

🌲 Flooded paths, surprise wildlife, a collapsed bridge, and no daylight left by the time I reached the gorge.
Still — I kept walking.
And I filmed every step.
