There’s a lot of noise and drama right now in the dawah space. Emotions are high, sides are being picked, and personalities are being defended as if they’re infallible. That’s already a problem.
Islam never taught us blind loyalty to du‘aat. Dawah figures are not scholars by default, and none of them are beyond criticism. Our compass is the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the understanding of qualified scholars who know our limits, our ethics, and the consequences of speech.
The Prophet ﷺ and his companions faced the worst enemies of Islam...mockery, abuse, violence, yet they never abandoned wisdom, restraint, or justice. Dawah was never about clout, ego, or winning debates. It was about truth, character, and responsibility before Allah.
This situation is a reminder: know your lane, check your intentions, and don’t outsource your religion to personalities. If you want to understand how dawah should actually be conducted and where many are going wrong.

Some individuals criticized my earlier post where I used the word “deviant.” To be clear, the problem isn’t necessarily the "general confirmation" view itself. The problem is what happened last week: a few of the very well known duaat started BULLYING brothers who hold the opposing view and dragged it out in public, when we do have daleel for what we say. That was disgraceful to say the least!
To make matters worse, the muslims in the chat (majority of whom dont even know the dalaail and the extent of our position) were so toxic that it would put some Christian streams to shame! Is this what Dawah has turned into? The battle of personal egos?
Where were the adaab? Where were the Islamic etiquettes? And why are these same duaat (that criticize every post or video of mine) silent about the antics, mocking our stance with lines like “Magical Torah” and such toxicity from these individuals?

When I say “deviance,” I’m talking about something specific:
– It’s when someone gives weight to the HCM, Secular atheist historians & scholars, the Church Fathers, or manuscripts evidence over what the Qur’an, Sunnah, and our scholars state, which is something they always criticize us for ironically!
– It’s when a person confidently decides what the Injeel was and wasn’t. It’s when someone claims the “Q / Diatessaron” (a hypothetical document) was the Injeel (Kitaab Allah) even though none of the Islamic scholars they cite ever said anything remotely like that.
– It’s when someone asserts that “Torah” definitively means everything in the “Levitical laws.”
That’s not “general confirmation.” That’s turning it into definitive confirmation and when you combine that with the aggression and disrespect they’ve shown toward fellow Muslim brothers, that’s where the deviation lies, in my view.
This trend is dangerous, and it has to stop. The people who should’ve stepped in chose to stay silent, so I’m saying what needs to be said. If that brings criticism my way, I can live with it... my accountability is to Allah, not to anyone’s feelings about this issue.
