Welcome to Retro Vault, where I celebrate B-movies, Grindhouse cinema, Horror flicks, and everything wonderfully weird, mostly before 1999. Fueled by equal parts MST3K snark and Monty Python absurdity, I dive into the beautiful disasters of cult cinema with Gen-X enthusiasm and zero pretension. Expect countdowns of films featuring rubber monsters, questionable effects, and plots that make you ask 'was anyone sober when they wrote this?' If you're looking for serious film criticism, you've taken a wrong turn—but if you want someone who appreciates the art of movies that are so bad they're amazing, pull up a seat. REBRANDING MY THUMBNAILS... I have decided to rebrand all my thumbnails. The style and tone I want to have going forward to mimic 1950s-1980s movie posters. Mostly 1970s B-Movie & Cult or 1950s Sci-fi Hand Drawn/Hand Painted style. I absolutely love the aesthetics of these, they are artwork to me and I feel that should be the vibe of this channel. I am letting you know because you may not recognize them when they come out. I am slowly swapping old ones out for replacements. If you have any suggestions, comments, corrections, ideas, complaints....just let me know. I try and make this channel as much as I can about what you want to see vs what I want to show whenever I can...
