Tomorrow at 5 pm Pacific I'll continue my long-running Shenmue playthrough, exclusively on Odysee. I'll have the game running at a silky smooth 60 FPS thanks to the Lossless Scaling app!
Having an Odysee account isn't required to view the stream but it's highly encouraged!
Around a year ago, I stopped streaming on Odysee because I ran into numerous technical issues doing so. Some of those issues were on my end.
I'm happy to report any potential issues on my end are completely resolved, and I'm ready to start streaming regularly again EXCLUSIVELY on Odysee. I don't like the idea of streaming to multiple platforms simultaneously because I don't want to split my viewer base or possibly run into more technical problems.
I've had kind viewers send me tips on YouTube MONTHS ago that I still haven't received because of YouTube's payout requirements. They were quick to take 30% of those earnings though! If viewers are inclined to show their support (very much appreciated), I'd much rather them do on Odysee. Arweave is a very promising technology and the more I read up on it, the more I understand why Odysee is partnering with it. The Odysee team is going all-in on Arweave and so am I! Two kind people have already tipped me on Odysee using the new Arweave payment system (you know who you are) and it works perfectly!
As far as the schedule goes, I don't know the exact day or time that I will stream. Right now it's looking like Sunday evenings. I have several retro games lined up with some select modern games sprinkled in for good measure. Since the sudden shutdown of my self-hosted Revolt instance (199X.chat), I’ve created a new server on Guilded. It’s a far better platform than Discord or Revolt ever will be.
